Saw the Byzance collection today! I bought all the items except for the Gold JC. I have Gold Fever, which is paler than Gold. The red RA, Byzatin, is stunning. I swatched other RC and RA for dupes but none are exact dupes. I think Excessive RA is close. The red blush, Rouge, is very pigmented. It has red shimmers. I will have to wear it with a light hand. The quad, Topkapi, made in Italy, looks gorgeous in person. The shadows feel like cream and are very pigmented. They feel and look like molten metals on my skin.

We needed to see these again

Oh my goodness! That is my dream rosy red lipstick! How can we get these and where? I'm still collecting from the spring and now fall collections. Where does this beautiful collection come out?

Thank you! It is gorgeous, isn't it? I could never wear that beautiful blush with my pale skin. And I don't even think I really want the e/s quad. It looks similar to colours I have in some Dior ones that I haven't even used yet but adore the ones I have. But that lipstick has my name all over it! Mine, mine! lol

NO! That blush will be GORGEOUS on pale skin! I am very pale & every wow blush works great you just have to use a 187

I can't wait to order my items from the Byzance collection tomorrow! Why do I have a feeling somethings going to go wrong...

I feel that way as well. A friend of a friend who lives in London is going to buy the collection for me, but I can't help feeling like it's going to sell out in a matter of minutes.
I really hope that doesn't happen. I've been working really hard lately and this collection is supposed to be my reward to myself.

Bah. I am looking at those lovely swatches. I am looking at all those lovely colours now in the e/s palette. And I am looking at my Byzantine Icon in my living room who is looking back at me saying, "Yes, you should get them all, if you find them!"

I've fallen hard for the Byzance collection, and I truly hope it's on chanel.com at the end of the month. I called my local Nordies and they never heard of it, and I want to avoid trekking to the SF Chanel boutique since reviews for the place are terrible (ie horribly judgmental SAs, snotty couldn't-be-bothered attitudes, borderline racist, etc.).

shontay - Too bad the gel e/s irritates your skin. I don't know if I'm sensitive to that ingredient, I'll watch out.
