so i checked my counter in Toronto, and they told me the collection isn't supposed to be sold until SEPTEMBER in Canada. ya. How unfair is that? I really hope he was wrong, but he was a Chanel rep. I guess he was srong in a way, seeing how they started to sell it in Ottawa...

I wouldn't trust that info too much. The official launch date is August 22nd. Most counters will put it out sooner if they get their stock in before, which they often do. I'll be going by today and will check to see if my counter has it yet, they usually have it the same time as the counter in Ottawa that Shadowy goes to!

I just picked up peridot which was put on hold for me. It looked so gorgeous that i had to put it on immediately and it is stunning! I love love love it! I'm thinking of picking up another bottle, maybe two! I also tried some of the shadows and i love the texture they have. I think i will pick up some of those instead of the shadesticks from the Mac Me Over collection. I wanted the Cakeshop shadestick because of the colour, but i think Epatant Illusion d'ombre will be much better in texture with the same kind of colour. I also liked Mirifique and Illusiore, so i think i will get those as well.

^^ enjoy your peridot! I haven't buy it yet. I love the texture and finish of the illusion d ombres too.I swatched them agagin today but I just cannot decide which one to pick up next.

Just googled, and yes, that's the one. Though I remember it being lighter. I also thought of getting eptant. Would those two work on me? Im MAC NW20 (but kinda neutral really), with green eyes and honeyblond/brown hair.

You're right!! I just got a call today to say that my items on hold just came in - that Chanel guy who told me that was some kinda crack-pot! he ruined my day, lol (just kidding)

I'm so excited, I'm going to go pick it all up this weekend. I'll be getting Ebloui, Illusoire & Mirifique shadows, and Peridot & Graphite polishes. I already got the Prelude quad in the States since I prefer the formula. I've never fell so in love with collection, usually i just pick up an item or two. Luckily the shadows are all permanent too!

Since I've been spending so much on makeup lately I'm going to hold off buying anything from this collection for a while :( I'm really scared something that I want will sell out fast though, can anyone who has this collection tell me what product will go first? I'm guessing it's the polishes as the summer ones sold out super fast here in the UK

^ if you're trying to save & just want limited edition items, the polishes are probably the way to go. the blush is pretty, but not a must-have in my opinion. Since Prelude and the Illusion d'ombres are going to be permanent, I wouldn't worry!

Thanks, I probably will just get the polishes first, I'm more excited for them anyways :)

Yay! Picked up my items - I've never, and probably will never spend this much in one shot on cosmetics ever again, lol!

The Illusion d'Ombres are sparklier than I expected, I hope this doesn't result in too much fallout. I'm really happy with the colours I picked though!

I'm sure everyone is sick to death of photos of this collection, but I just want to share a few pics (because i'm excited!) It's a very photogenic collection :)
