MissQQ, Madly is definitely the perfect shade for almost look. On me (NW25 in winter, NW30-35 in summer) it goes fantastic as a subtle cheek color. On the other hand, I was not able to get any color from Luster, so I swapped it away =(
Now I am lemming Taos =)

Ingenue - LOVE this look! I was actually getting abit worried that the quad may not work on my skintone but glad to see it shows up on yours! I'm trying to go on a makeup no-buy for a while but this collection is making it very difficult! Good thing its not out till February...

I am wearing April and I love it.

First was thinking it is not such unique shade woth the money, but the texture is divine and is very glossy. Well worth what I paid for it. (I got 2 Chanel nailpolishes for $30, April and Black Pearl, gave black pearl as a gift to a friend)

Oh, also wanted to add since I indeed dragged myself off to the mall today: there's a glossimer collection (the one we thought was part of summer 2012) with a bunch of corals and nps due out in February, and the Vitalumiere Aqua compact collection is due out March. With the VA collection there will also be three JCs released: Pink Explosion (yay for those of us who missed out!), light pink Tumulte, and coral Malice. My SA couldn't confirm whether these JCs would be in the US or Euro baked formulas, but she did say Tumulte looked similar to Narcisse.

I'm interested to see pics of these smaller collections in February and March. I am always interested in new JC's -- I missed out on Narcisse, so can't wait to see Tumulte. I'm sure Malice will be gorgeous. Give us something to look forward to since the Spring collection came out so early!

I didn't buy it (yet), but I wanted to replicate that gorgeous reddish brown color. I used the beige color from the Prelude quad on the lid, and then I used MAC Cranberry in the crease and then blended a little Folie into it -- and a vanilla color to highlight the brow. Looks pretty close

April - Summer 2012 (bronzers + coral/gold/beige polishes, glossimers, and RCS)
May - (unknown name) - collection w/ Jeans polishes, 3 RCs and 3 RCS
June/July - Bombay Express

Wow, is Chanel seriously releasing that many collections back to back?

I'm (relatively) new to Chanel, but that strikes me as a MAC-level release schedule.

^^Wow, that is a lot. Thanks for the info! I think when I first was getting into Chanel they just had 4 main collections/year. I think I am most excited for the April release! I'm sure the Bombay collection will be amazing -- but wonder if it will work with my skintone??

I think typically Chanel does about that number of collections per year. Some are small like the nail polish collections, and some are new lines, eg replacing old foundations or lipsticks, lipglosses, eyeshadow duos. My counters already have the Vitalumiere Hydra, but for that we are having the Le Blanc collection. I have been thinking if I should get Pro Lumiere before it is gone forever.

Sabrina at thebeautylookbook posted swatches of 4 lipsticks, but didn't have Paradis. I think I'm getting Flirt, because it's close to Misia and I really wanted it, and Paradis.

Btw, where are Shypo and HerGreyness?

I think HG is having a holiday with Rrrramon and Cheryl is probably spending time with her family this holiday. Hope to see them here soon!

I thinking of getting a pair of day shoes, not with high heels but for walking and running after buses/trains if necessary. I went to the website and there are nice bags too, sweet with a bit of rocker style. The one with a corsage look like a Chanel camelia, and they have the design for wallet and sandals too.

I actually decided to give some love to Luster today.


I am wearing it together with Laguna bronzer, on my eyes Tiger Lily and Burberry Khaki.

I am totally in love with this combo of Khaki green and Tiger Lily. Luster tops if off nicely, it gives beautiful cheek to me. On lips I choosed something soft, RCS in Evasion.

I don't own Ebloui, so unfortunately I can't compare. MAC Cranberry is a very true cranberry color -- it definitely needs a reddish brown mixed in to look like the darkest color from Eclosion. Too bad they don't sell that color as a single

Iam not that familiar with Chanel duo and I think there are 2 Khaki Chanel duos??

Burberry Khaki is leaning a sort of grey/brown I would say, it is great color to do soft smokey look ( I can not do dark smokey). Applied look like mixture of green, grey and brown. It is pretty everyday neutral, I would not all it green.

It my second most fave Burberry shadow (Pearl Grey being first)

Does anyone else think Tigerlily will also look super pretty in the fall with brown and cranberry colours? I do! My backup l/s's and April n/p arrive tomorrow and I can't wait. I want to photograph it for my blog so I can finally start using those blushes! I am so glad I bought Flirt, too. It was not the nightmare I had made it out to be and reminded me of how much I love the RCS's and love switching them out in my makeup bag for on the go. I am going to make a list of what I have, keep it in my bag and pick a few up throughout the year that I don't already have. That way I can swatch them at the mall before committing myself. I just don't trust the swatches on their site.

On a super exciting note, I just ordered my first LV bag. A Damier Trevi PM. I am over the roof and my stomach is all butterflies! I love the style of it and that I will be able to toss it over my shoulder. I feel spoiled rotten! But I am sooo happy! I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas!

I have BoP. No, Tigerlily is more sparkly and more orange, like orange juice, or MAC's Juiced e/s. Swatched next to Tigerlily the orange from BoP has alot more pink in it.

You're right that's a lot of collections! Though we probably won't get half of these or get them so late that maybe 3-4 collections show up at my counter at the same time :/

MissQQ - I have both eyeshadows. I will swatch them but I'm thinking that the one in the quad may be a bit more on the burgundy side. Too darn lazy to take pictures today

Weird, on the new Chanel mascara samples, the first one I tried was amazing, the second one not so much. Whats up with that? I want them to all wear like the first sample.
