Chanel Spring 2012 collection

Wow. I really need to go in and have another look at this collection. I need to go to a counter and not have the MUA over my shoulder and blabbing on and on like before. I think that distracted me.These lip products look great to me now. I love the look of both shines, but realistically, Flirt is probably the only one that will work for me. Also, I like the look of Charme lipstick. I'm going to take another look this weekend and politely tell any MUA who approaches me to back off.

I think that partially answers my question about Charme I just saw the swatch of it on T and it looks like a very sophisticated colour with a nice mauve tint to it How do people with pigmented lips like Charme? Hope you are good Cheryl

I would say Bagatelle is closer to Sabrina's pictures. Karla's make it look VERY bubblegum-y. I find it to be more salmon. It's lovely! I wore it today! I couldn't really get it to photograph the proper color either though. I wanted to post it on my blog. I'll try again tomorrow and if I get it to look right, I'll post here.

Bagatelle on me looks like Sabrina's pics -- definitely leans more salmon. It is really pretty on.

I think it'll depend on your undertones. I'm quite warm so Bagatelle pulls salmon on me (like Sabrina). Superstition definitely has gold shimmer but whether it turns pink or beige will depend on whether you have saran-wrap lips (LOL) or not. I have fairly pigmented lips, so while Superstition was WAY too light for my skin tone it pulled more pink than beige.

Yep, I'm sure it will be influenced somewhat by skintone and lip pigmentation, but even the tube picture of Bagatelle looks distinctly un-bubblegummy on Sabrina's site. I tend to think the color is off in Karla's pics, and I believe she based her color descriptions on her pics.

I was just in the Looks section of the Spring Collection on Chanel.com and they describe Superstition as a "Golden Beige".
Michelle, have you checked out Armani lipsticks for pinky nudes? They have a really nice selection of nudes. The Rouge d'Armanis in 100-103 (beiges) are very popular on MUA and within those there are ones that are more straight-up beige, peach or pink. I believe 103 is the most pink nude and 102 is more of a peachy pink nude.

Who else is getting Candeur? I love how it looks on T's lips, I think I'm adding it to my list! It doesn't look frosty or emphasize the lines on the lips like how pale lip glosses do. Is Charme slippery like Chintz, Magnolia or is it like Mademoiselle, Gardenia?

Winthrop - I find Bagatelle to be a bit more med. pink on my lips than salmon probably due to my lip color. Karlas pic is way off, but the other one seems a bit too peach warm to me.
