Almus -- I hope you get the collection there soon!

I can't stop singing the praises of my Bronze Rose. I wore Magnifique glossimer today with the Bronze Rose and a neutral eye and am in a happy Spring mood (even though it is rainy, windy, and hailing outside).

Anyone have the shadow duo Khaki Discret? I am so excited because I just realized it's permanent. I'm going to buy it as soon as I can. I was telling myself that I have similar greens, but they just aren't the same. I am in love with green. That's the same reason why I'm going to stop fighting my lemmings for the quad. I really need it and it would make me so happy to see it in my make up drawer. I don't think it's permanent, but I am going to try and get my hands on it.

I do believe that Cheryl and maybe Winthrop got the duo from this collection and they both loved it! I am most certainly checking it as soon as the collection is release here. I am a sucker for khaki greens!

I'm loving the Lilium quad...I'll have to test it in person though, since we get the international formula. Looks stunning in Karla's swatches, but I'm really not a fan of baked eyeshadows.

Oh my goodness, Bronze Rose is the bronzy-blush hybrid that dreams are made of. It is exactly what I've been searching for for years, a product that gives me a luminous, tanned flush without being straight up shimmery. It gets a big A+ from this NC20 girl.

I've wore the Dior bronzer yesterday and today. I took some pics so I'll try to get them up. It is definitley very subtle and it is peachier than expected. I'm wondering if it's a little too warm for me but I think I like it.

I'll have to go by my Dior counter and see if they have it in yet. I thought it looked so gorgeous in the pics on Cafe Makeup. I'm cool toned, so I am nervous about things are are too warm. I can imagine it would be gorgeous with your coloring!

HG -- my post just disappeared -- wierd. Enjoy your time in Argentina with Rrrrrramon! Can't wait to see pics!

Monsy -- I haven't seen the Dior bronzers in person yet. I was going to check my Macy's and Dillards to see if they have it in stock yet. I haven't checked Sephora yet . . .

Edit: Sorry for double post -- I guess the post was delayed LOL!

I wanted to ask you about the LMDB tinted foundation - you said that you used #1 - is that the NEW #1 shade? My gal sent me #2 samples because they didn't have the #1 yet. Sooo, but NM & Nordies say that its "Apricot" ???? that just means orange to me. Even their swatches look bad. So how is the new #1 shade for fair skin?

Christa will be able to give you a better answer, but in the meantime...this is how LMdB described the three shades on their FB page when I asked them about the undertones of the new one (before I remembered it has ingredients that make it a no-go for me):

NEW Shade 1: The brightest of the three formulas, Shade 1 has a distinctive peaches-and-crème undertone ideal for someone looking to brighten a sallow or yellow natural undertone. This shade will bring a boost of vibrance, providing skin with a refreshed appearance.

Shade 2: This true, neutral beige will flatter a wide variety of complexions. It adds a touch of warmth to a pale complexion, giving skin a youthful and revitalized appearance. The best skin type for this shade is a light to medium complexion that can tan without burning.

Shade 3: The deepest of the three shades, this formula will works with olive and darker complexions. A beautiful golden base flatters while still maintaining a neutral beige undertone.

I'm heading to the counter tomorrow to check out the new foundation and a couple of things from Summer '11. I need something new and different from my black liquid liner and have been hearing you all rave about Rose Platine.

What do you all think of Chanel primers? I've been using the Purete skincare and it's been really amazing for my skin. Only thing is now I'm noticing my pores are showing more. :( I was interested in the Chanel primer since I want to explore the line more, but it seems like it has mixed reviews.

:) Thanks my dear! See, I don't want that warmth to my pale skin, which is what the #2 samples do & I don't like that. I just want a pale tone for my pale skin

See, I don't know exactly what they mean by a Boost of Vibrance ??? Just give me a light shade

Hey Janice!

I have been using the Purete line a long time & love it. I try others, but always come back to it. I haven't tried Chanels primer - but now that you've mentioned it - I will definitely try it to see if its any good.

Rose Platine is quite a lovely accent pencil.

I thought a few of the Chanel regulars raved about either Blanc de Chanel or Base Lumiere? Maybe Cheryl or Shontay?
