I missed out on Barbie last year, so I figured I should make up for it, buy going all out with Fafi. This is what I got:

Fun 'N Sexy l/s
Totally It l/g
Sassed Up
A Fafi Doll
#182 brush

I knew I wanted Totally It from the swatches I had seen, and I'm loving it. I was very disappointed with Flash 'N Dash. It was not what I imagined. It was not bright enough for me and too glittery. If I could find a bright tangerine shade without glitter and have the texture of the amplified creme lippies (not morange), I'd be sold.

Fun 'N Sexy is a fun, pretty colour and it went on sheerer than I thought it would have, but it brightens up after putting on more layers. The only thing I don't like is the gritty feeling I get when I rub my lips together, due to the glitter. Drives me insane.

With Sassed Up, I originally wasn't going to get it. The MA put it on and I didn't notice much of a difference. I bought it anyway because the packaging is cute. Later on, I went to my mother's work place and noticed that her coworkers kept complimenting me on my skin. One even asked about my daily face washing routine. When I checked in the mirror, I realized it was the Iridescent powder that gave me a nice sheen! So, it's definitely one of my favourite purchases, and I can retire my trusty MSFs, for now that is.

I only bought 2 paint pots- Layin' Low and Cash Flow. Cash Flow is gorgeous- but then again I always love the golds! Layin' Low is a really nice base for me since I wear many neutral eyeshadows. I'm NC30 by the way.
I'm still undecided about whether or not to get the Eyeshadow Quad #2. The colors are pretty but I'm not so fond of lustres and I believe this quad has 2 of them.

I got Fafi Eyes 2 online and was very disappointed to see that there was no mirror in the compacts!!! I was 1 step away from returning it. I still got the plastic covering in the compact. I also bought Strawbaby and I am not impressed!!! Keep a look out I might be selling them!! I also got Cult Fave l/g but I haven't tried it yet!! I am so not impressed!! VERY DISAPPOINTED............

I finally got out to my nearest MAC store today

I got four of the Paint Pots, an IPP, the limited addition Viva Glam VI and the Missy Slimshine. I loved the Paint Pots; they were extremely creamy and blendable. I got Nice Vice, which is the sexiest purple ever, Perky, an adorable peachy coral for summer, Girl Friendly, muted grey pink that I loovvve, and Cash Flow. I wasn't planning on getting Cash Flow, but it inticed me when I swatched it at the counter (little minx). BTW, Cash Flow on the inner lid and Nice Vice on the outer? FIERCE. I got the Belightful IPP, just because I wanted the packaging and Belightful was a product I was interested in anyway. I passed on all the lip products, just because they weren't my style and I hated the packaging. I brought my MAC virgin friend along and the first thing she said was, "it looks like play make up." Oh well, more moola for Heatherette!

Thank you for the suggestion. I want to try this! And since I don't have Nice Vice yet I am going to try Cash Flow with Blackground in the outer corner.

You mean Otherwordly by Mc Queen? I love these shades and want to buy Rollickin' as well.
I think that Rollickin' is a bit darker than Otherwordly. Rollickin' is an aqua blue green, Otherwordly is more blue than green, I think.

I did and I love it! The best brush for giving a thin line with f/l. I even use it to line using Shadestick.

Can someone please swatch and/or compare Hipness and Fleurry for me?

I got it. It's very nice for getting right to the root of the lash line. I wouldn't mind having the same brush but with a short handle.

The name is Otherworldly, and I'm also on the fence...

1. How many aqua PPs do I *really* need
2. I don't like the frost texture on PPs, I prefer cream and satin for their superior opacity

That being said, I'm sorely tempted to pick up Rollickin and Nice Vice (even though i suspect it'll give me a black-eye look)

I went to the MAC counter this weekend and got the quad1 and layin low paint pot. The MA did my eyes with hey over the layin low pp and pink venus in the crease. Vanilla to highlight with blacktrack fluid line winged out. It was pretty but when i tried it the next day it looked awful...

I guess i just need to practice and mess with it some more. My appointment for the event is on the 29th so I think I will have her try something a little darker like something with nice vice as the base.

I swatched it on my hand when I was at the counter, and it's very shimmery and not pastel, matte blue like the McQueen paint pot. It's got more of a green undertone, and the shimmer was sort of goldish (is that a word? Probably not). It's similar to the McQueen paint pot, that's for sure, but enough is different that it might be worth the purchase. It's more blendable then the McQueen paint pot as well

I was at my Nordstrom MAC yesterday & they were basically out of everything but said they were taking orders cause they were getting another Fafi shipment. My question is...is that true? will they really get more? I don't understand how they can get more of something if its sold out on the MAC website.
