Thanks so much for pointing out that nice vice is sold out. I've been going back & forth about buying Hipness or not & by seeing that one of the paint pots is already gone I decided to go ahead & get my blush before its gone too!
I also got the LE viva glam l/g cause they finally added it to the website!

I've been going back & forth on this too. I really love the packaging so I'm keeping it. I know that erine mentioned in one of the above posts that you CAN put another powder in the compact so I decided to keep it. The product itself, though, sucks. They might as well call it "pressed glitter."

I purchased Verve-acious and Sassed up and am returning the former because it seems to have zero color payoff. Sassed up, for me, isn't much better but I wanted to keep at least one.
I am also returning Strawbaby and High Top. I wanted to LOVE High Top because the blue flecks are really cool but there is hardly any other color payoff for me (NC35). I had to literally gob it on and then it was just too thick. Strawbaby is just boring to me.
In other news, Flash-n-Dash and Fun'n'Sexy are hot colors. And I am grabbing up ANOTHER Totally It right away. Looks great over any color.
First post BTW, but love everything you guys post and just so ya know, I blame this place for my new addiction to MAC. I had always liked their Studio Fix and blot but never paid any attention to color collections. Now it's like I might have to find a support group and meetings.

"pressed glitter" is exactly what it is! ughh and the worst part is that the glitter gets everywhere and I could totally see a glitter-eye accident just waiting to happen. As for keeping it...ehh still on the fence. I thought about popping out the compact but I don't use MAC's pressed powders so the compact would still be useless, pretty but useless. why oh why did the compact have to be the one of the few products without a sticker decoration...

That's why I passed on them today. Too many sparkles and just...eh eh. I don't like glitter :/

man i'm loving strawbaby! if i had more $ i would prob pick up a couple more l/s. And i'm loving layin low pp even more than perky! I've done a quite natural neutral eye the past two days and on my NW15 skin this pretty much mimics my skin tone, I add some nanogold on top for some fun, I did some copperplate in the crease and it was AWESOME! I started trying Strawbaby with it but switched to Twig-Twig-->seriously I love this l/s and am debating if I need to get a backup of it!
But I'm also hating the Fafi "packaging" for the lipsticks, if thats what you want to call it. I like the smooth casing for the l/s and the fun MAC writing on it but the cheap-o sleeve sucks. It was already moving a bit so I pulled it off---and quite like it better this way.

What do you mean by the "sleeve"... are you talking about the sticker thing that is attached to the lipstick holder? Does your move?
The one thing I like about the pictures, is that I can identify which lipstick is which, in my crowded make-up bag. It's nice that one is not black so I know it's the Fafi. Are you saying it will move or become unstuck, after a while?

The thing around the lipstick is not a sticker. Its a plastic sleeve. I know someone posted in the swatches thread theirs already had come off. Who knows, maybe ours are just the exceptions, but its possible it may come off after a while (I saw no glue, just the plastic sleeve around the lipstick container)--do you notice the overlap where the picture is? LOL i'm sorry I can't explain well--here are some pictures I just took with my camera phone)

Limited Edition or not, if you don't like sassed up or aren't going to make use of it why not just return it?

don't worry. i got the black bag too. but i did get a postcard size about the Back 2 MAC program. the MA who helped me recognize me from the last time I went. she was like you come here often. i only purchase my MAC from the Bloomingdale's counter in San Francisco.

Some quick thoughts: I love the texture of the PPs this time out. My Soft Ochre from N Collection feels a bit dry and stick to me but Cash Flow feels like butter. I have Uppity f/l but it is a true yellow gold while Cash Flow definitely has some green in it. It has been gorgeous under everything I've worn so far.
I love the lips in this collection. High Top looks great with Burgundy liner and a bit of Over Sexed. But the really hot combo that I am loving right now is Fun N Sexy with Cherry liner and Totally It over the top. HOT, HOT, HOT!!
I also love the nail polish. It is beautiful corally pink on me and I am wearing it as a french manicure with Nocturnelle on the tips.

I got the boring old black mac bag too. LOL. I just figured that they would be giving out the white ones at the events. I don't know.

Yes, after looking closely, you can see where the ends of the plastic meet up. I see that on food products that are sealed to prevent tampering.
So you're saying that it may come off? Great. As I mentioned, I like having it on there to identify which lipstick is which. I'm sure I'll be pulling mine off too at some point.

So... The Bay did not give me a white Fafi bag, but of course I got them when buying at the free standing stores.
I really don't like The Bay, they never do anything in a nice way.
