on the fafi restocking...well they now have more Fascinating eye pencil after being the first thing to sell out. Cult Fave is now sold out.

I don't dismiss liners entirely, I use them myself. My point was that if it doesn't need a liner, I don't see why someone should be pushed to use it with a lipstick.

Yeah, I usually use a liner that won't change the color of the lipstick. =) I guess it depend on what you're used to? Maybe using the nude color makes it hard to get used to bold color liners? Just a suggestion.

It probably has to do with the liner because I think these lipsticks are pretty damn sheer lol. It's hard for ME to get used to because I LOVE bold and bright lips. Maybe try High Top with the nude liner you always use. It might look good.

update: I spent over $400 on this collection
and over the weekend I was in LA and tryed out some colors and sadly, 95% of the stuff is going back.
Im definitely returning both eye quads, utterly friv l/s, sassed up ipp and I really want to return BOOM nail polish, but I got a manicure with it and dont know the policy on returning nail polishes. it looks so blah on me.
overall, im dissapointed with this collection.

I think fascinating is part of the regular line though...?
Just an FYI, i visited the Nordstrom's website and although it was weird the way it was set-up...they seem to have a lot of things that are sold out on the MAC website. Maybe everyone could check that out?

well the liner I use isn't nude, its more like a brown....but not dark. I just use it with my nude lipsticks. I could still try it with HT I suppose. So i finally got a chance to check out Fafi the other day and i i'm sooooo disappointed in this collection! I really thought it had some great potential from the swatches but the two lipsticks i was interested in (high top & not so innocent) were loaded with glitter and the lipgloss were boring! I still want Sugar Trance (my counter was sold out) so i'll keep lookign back for those. I can't wait for more info on the upcoming summer collections and i really hope we'll be getting lots of new pigments and MSF's this year! That's all i really want MAC!!!

i was disappointed in fafi. bought the last fafi eyes one, just bc it was the last one i didnt want to regret not getting it while i had the chance to. both blushes were sold out. thats what i get when im stressed with school! i reallllllyy wanted hipness and tahts it. picked up afew slimshines with the fafi money though! yay. haha

I have to agree with HOTasFCUK on the glitter thing with the lipsticks. For some reason, I love glitter in everything and everywhere, except on my lips--I prefer shimmer. If that makes sense?

I like the plummy-purpleness of High Top but to me, the blue glitter tone I get when I wear it is just too much. I will often wear this (I imagine) with a gloss overtop to try and counteract the blue-ish glitteriness tone. Now I love Strawbaby--the glitter is not the same, I find it gives me a shimmer--one that I can live with and not glitter chunks.
I've tried checking out the swatches, would you guys (who've bought Squeeze it and/or Sugar Trance) say there are chunks of glitter?

I agree, you should not be pushed to use anything you don't want to use and believe me, I was not pushing lip liners on you or anyone else, just singing their praises. Like I've said before, in the end, the only opinion that matters is your own. Only you know what works best for you.

she could of been mistaken because i see the triangle.

I don't think my Squeeze It or Sugar Trance has chunks of glitter. It's more shimmery than glittery In my opinion. Does anyone know a good dupe for Squeeze It in the perm line? Or something similar??

Hmm. Squeeze It *kind of* reminds me of Philosophy's Supernatural Lipgloss in Ruby. Ruby is a tad darker, and not as shimmery.
