Quite a few people have been ripped of by skintillyclad! She tried to pull a fast one on my sister but became very unstuck as my sister used to work for EL companies who own MAC, also watch out for fashion fairy who is a friend or duplicate ID of skintillyclad! Everything these theiving individuals sell is fake
I am glad you found the thread a help it is nice to know of someone who has not been ripped off,
If you have any concerns about anything you may or may not buy of lizsutherland just post it on here

You may want to avoid thos99 - a seller in the UK. I won an auction that was meant to be 3d gold glitter (photo showing this - fine glitter with rainbow effect). What i received was a jar of chunky, badly cut plain gold craft glitter that had no rainbow effect whatsoever.
To make matters worse i happened to take a closer look at the lid of the jar and found a bit of blue glitter around the white inlay and a bit under it.
I opened a paypal dispute which i won, and was informed by another buyer that they were sent a fake red glitter which was also refunded for.
The seller MUST have known that it was fake due to it not looking a damn thing like the photo (he most likely nabbed from another seller).
Rant over.

Did she buy a fake too? He originally apologised for sending it saying he bought it from another ebayer and if i returned it then he would refund me. I luckily did it by recorded mail as i was able to tell exactly when he received the item back - around the time he started to ignore me...
He didnt make contact until i failed a dispute with paypal, and by contact i mean he wrote 'sorry, i was away on holiday' in the dispute when i was refunded. Lies as all during this time he was still selling and sending items (he is a solo seller not a part of a team).

Im glad people have places like this to vent/find out info on sellers - i wouldn't really know how to tell most of the fakes apart let alone if a seller is genuine - or selling under different names. Surely ebay can track sellers by the credit cards/addresses and kick off repeat offenders...

Hi
Yes it was red glitterfake ,they like you were suspicious, when they read a guide on ebay and realised that they may have a fake item when they compared it to their own in a different colour they realised it was fake,

As for Ids on Ebay you can have as many as you like if you have enough bank or credit cards Ebay dont care as long as the fees are paid.
I see the seller has more dodgy pigments/glitters take a look at the jewelmarines wrong box, That seller must think peopl are thick, when was a glitter a pigment LOL.

I just sent a quick message asking why that glitter had a pigment box - i dont know if they will answer. I wish i had another account, then i could request a sample and have proof they are fake. Though knowing the seller they would probably charge for the sample + 2.99 p&p...
So im going to express my feelings in pictures instead:

On topic: Has anyone ever had samples from nownowbenice? She (he?) sells empty samples pots with pigments/glitters and mixing mediums as free 'gifts' - beating the system! That makes me want to buy from her (I need to test differences in mixing mediums - gel and water - before i buy full size). She/he has a collection of over 100 colours including rare pro and glitter (c.s blue, p. yellow, b. red and 3d's), but only a 64 feedback - 100% positive...
My way of having 'insurance' is to ask them using ebay messaging prior to buying if they are authentic MAC and then paying via paypal - therefore if they turn out to be fake (and i can prove this) i have proof that the seller lied. I dont buy enough to really test this though. Does anyone think its worth the risk? 5.99 including UK postage for 5 samples 1/4 tsp if you are interested...

They dont say the name MAC as the samples will be taken down - they say the brand starts with M and ends in C, i messaged them and was told they are authentic MAC pigs, does this seller sound dodgy to you?:

No, not dodgy - just trying to escape the clutches of ebays VeRO programme which could see them litigated against for copyright infringement. It would be nice if you could see the colours first hand though and be assured that they are MAC - if you bought the jars and got the pigments as a "gift" then there is NO recourse should you get fakes bcause you didnt buy them to begin with!!

PS - thanks for the link - I checked that seller for listed items and this one did not come up!!

I think im going to buy a lot of 5 from her next week just to see if they are. I'll let you know if they are real or not (or put up photos if im not 100% sure) - would be good if there is a trusted seller that will do samples.

I second amistosa - she states in auction that she will only ship to USA or Canada, but if you ask nicely im sure she will ship to UK (she did with me) - just say you will take responsibility for shipping losing it. Very fast, wrapped will (2 lots of bubble wrap in all). Cheap postage, and as the pound is worth about twice the dollar its cheap for item too.

I want to thank people in this thread, I'm fairly new to buying MAC items and dont want to be conned haha. May I ask what MUA means? :p

Hello,
I wanted to write on this topic as it is very important to me. I am an eBay Powerseller, and I only sell 100% Authentic cosmetics. Although there are many fakes on eBay, there are still many caring sellers like myself offering only the best cosmetics available. Please continue to buy and shop on eBay as great sellers still exist!

I have 100% feedback for thousands of auctions, and I am proud to sell my favorite cosmetics, MAC!

Thank You,
Crystal
