Update on nownowbenice :
Amazing seller!

Sells almost full 3g sample jars (very generous 1/4 tsp im guessing).
Gets around the whole 'cant sell MAC samples' thing by selling the empty sample jars and 'giving' the pigment/glitter as a gift.
She has authentic mixing mediums, regular, LE/discontinued, pro and glitter (says she has quite a bit of the three 3d glitters if anyone is interested in trying them) - seller is very helpful and tries her best to get your first options.

I ordered 6 pigments and a water medium thinking that they would more than likely be fakes - this board has given me MAJOR mac paranoia... However i was pleasantly suprised to receive 7 authentic pigments (1 free Pro Gold! HAPPINESS- i dont know if she does this with each order) and a water medium.
The mixing medium is in a cute dinky eye drops style container that had a factory seal around it (like drops do when you buy them) so im more enclined to believe that the makeup had been divided out in a sterile manner than if the mixing medium was just put in another sample jar/tube.

If anyones interested the price is 8 pounds (including UK shipping) for 7 samples (pigs, glitters, mixing mediums of your choice) and 1 free?
She does lots in 5s and 7s, but the seller may do other sizes if asked?

I would definitely recommend her if you are wanting to try before you buy full, or want samples of Pro (she has clear sky blue, primary yellow, basic red etc), Glitters, LE or discontinued. Im torn between wanting to keep her to myself so she doesnt sell all of the one i want, and wanting her to do well...

I agree with panda and others, for full jars I trust Amistosa,hoanganhcali,rubette07, wc-racer, tankist, allmistymandy to name a few. Most of the ones are no longer selling after the sample selling stopped on Ebay.

Hi,
It's against Ebays rules to sell samples so I wanted to give you a heads up
smiles.gif
FYI I have 121 colors in stock . Are sellers in the UK still able to sell samples on Ebay??

no but nownowbenice gets round this by selling the pots and giving the sample as a "gift" -thanx wolfsong for letting me know about her. xxx

Ive posted about her a few times before (including a recommendation - she's wonderful!) Here's how she gets around the ebay issues- rehashed from earlier posts:

On topic: Has anyone ever had samples from nownowbenice? She (he?) sells empty samples pots with pigments/glitters and mixing mediums as free 'gifts' - beating the system! That makes me want to buy from her (I need to test differences in mixing mediums - gel and water - before i buy full size). She/he has a collection of over 100 colours including rare pro and glitter (c.s blue, p. yellow, b. red and 3d's), but only a 64 feedback - 100% positive...
My way of having 'insurance' is to ask them using ebay messaging prior to buying if they are authentic MAC and then paying via paypal - therefore if they turn out to be fake (and i can prove this) i have proof that the seller lied. I dont buy enough to really test this though. Does anyone think its worth the risk? 5.99 including UK postage for 5 samples 1/4 tsp if you are interested...

From the auctions:

Lol opps... Gosh do i ramble?! You answered it in 2 sentences...

Thanks for the list! - I always gave her long lists of pigments as i never knew exactly what she had (and im picky). Now my messages to her will be less confusing!

Does she have an account on here? If i randomly email her as wolfsong would she know i was from specktra and not just lying to get cheaper pigs?

HAHA! Oh i know what you mean - within 5 minutes of receiving my first order i was already making up a list for my second...
Ive had 3 off her so far, but i will be ordering no. 4 next week!
I am also awaiting a $48 pig sample order ($2 a sample) from a USA seller (with a 10 dollar Black Black pigment jar, and $10 shipping - so its not that bad!).
Nownowbenice is so generous with her samples! Ive seen small 1/4 tsp samples on ebay for 2.50 and 2.50 shipping (both in pounds - pound sign is broken) - they are not even HTF pigs, some are even from the current regular line. The cheapest is 2.25 1/4 samples with free shipping - though it doesnt compete in price with nownowbenice and i dont know if they are authentic/generous sizes.
If a seller works from the metric system, then you know you will be getting the biggest 1/4 tsp available!

oh let me know how that usa seller goes who is it ??(so i can have a nosey)- i get quite alot from usa sellers as i just feel they are more likely to be real- i have also had samples from pancosmetics which were great but no way near as generous as nownowbenice. can u recommend anyone who sells the latest eyeshadows out ie-mcqueen at good prices?? ive just ordered new vegas skinfinish from usa seller as its sold out online never had a skinfinish before so cant wait

HI,

I have all the colors your looking for and sell 3/8 tsp but dont have all the differnet mixing mediums, only the water base. I do have anough left to give you a sample. I have over 1200+ 100% feedback so feel free to contact me. If your sure her stuff is real and like her service then it's good to try different sellers to see which ones you like the best. The only thing, if she's breaking any rules and Ebay pulls here they will also void and null your items.

have a great weekend everyone

What are your prices may i ask? I'd be more interested to buy outside of ebay (on specktra) as it cuts out ebay payments - thus being less of a pain for both parties. Its probably me being silly, but i dont like to keep re-ordering the same shades from sellers - i know a lot of sellers like selling the samples as a stepping stone type thing, so that people can try them out and maybe purchase full sizes if they want. I tend to get paranoid that sellers will think "why don't you just buy the damn jar?!"
lol.gif

This is why i have 2 sample sellers that i buy from, and would like a third

A sample isnt enough, and a jar is too much IMO. *I should mention i'm in the UK*

Hi again,

FYI some of those rares you listed are still at MAC PRO like reflects red, fairlite, reflects pearl, reflects gold, ect..I actually just bought 2 of those colors from them last week. Thats the one thing new sellers may or maynot know just like new buyers is weather or not a color is a rare, regular or pro. It's always good to check out MAC PROs website even though you cant buy from them. I see sellers all the time saying blue brown ( & other MAC Cosmetics other regulars) is a rare and selling a 1/4 tsp for 4.00 but it's a mac regular...and I sell 3/8 for 3.00. The more we all know, buyers and sellers the better quality of service we will get

I hope this help
