Welcome, too!

I would suggest getting whichever of the items that is most LE. Apparently, Enigma is going to be perm, and Reflect D'Ombres might also be perm (there are still a bunch around a lot of counters, anyway). That way, you can get the items you want when you can afford them.

Personally, if it turns out that Enigma is perm, I'll probably put off getting it for another month or so that I can get Pink Explosion JC, since that is LE. Chanel tends to be much more exclusive than any other brand, so once the LE items are gone, they're impossible to track down, unless you're willing to pay an arm and a leg.

I've just decided I'm only going to get Pink Explosion blush and Chalys lipstick. It's to save money and besides, I really only want light blushes now because they brighten up my face. Coral Love isn't a necessity since I have similar Chanel glossimers. So, it's PE and Chalys very soon

I totally agree with you!! Ever since Black Satin, one of Chanel's nail polishes ends being "the sade". So now it's turn for Paradoxal!!

I have it!! As some pointed out, these are warmed purples. I love the quad because it was one of my firsts and it has that "Millenium" taste, you no longer get. It's an "epoque quad" for me. In the years to come it'll be a museum item. I think it was launched on 2001 but not sure. It's the oldest one in the perm line. The shades are a bit metallic too. It consist of:

A dark kinda metallic purple. This one it's really pigmented and has a black under tone, with a black base it's perfect for smokeys. It has a metallic sheen. You know Chanel metallic.

A pale almost white silvery lilac. This is the most metallic one. It that shade that was soooo hot during Millenium collections. I remember looking at this shade at every makeup brand in every single product (lippies, glosses, nailpolishes, pigments and eyeshadows).

A golden lavender. Gorgeous shade. It has golden sparkle, but again, as with every Chanel e/s that has it, really finely milled. This one it's the second light shade.

A golden red based purple with golden sparkle (again really fine). I just love this shade, very unique, very wearable. It's the second darker shade.

It entirely depends on what are you looking for!!

Enigma will stay on counters for a while. Both Murano and Reflects d'Ombre have dark greens in it, but Murano it's blue based and RO it's warm. RO it's more day make up and Murano it's more night. RO has three neutral shades that are perfect for daily basis. Murano it's perfect for dramatic night or smokey looks. RO was launched on Spring 2008 and Murano was from Fall 2009.

If smokeys are your thing, Enigma it's for you!!

I rediscovered my love for Bubbles Glossimer this weekend. Vince got us tickets to Michael Bublé for Valentine's Day, and the concert was last night, and it was FANTASTIC!!! I did a simple winged liner with a pewter smokey eye, and I dug out Bubbles since I hadn't given it any love lately. It is soooo pretty and sparkly!! It paled my natural lip color out ever so slightly, but mostly added just the prettiest sparkle. Why, oh why did that one have to be LE?! I look at my Chanel collection, and it seems like most of what I have are really HTF LE items. I just bought what I thought was pretty at the time, and now I have all this rare stuff!! I'm kinda afraid to use it! My Narcisse JC is starting to flatten out a bit. It's about time that Chanel start repromoting stuff.

Oh, and in case anyone is interested, I posted a delicious drink recipe on my blog. Drinking, makeup...it all goes together.

Yes I swatched Misty and it is pigmented but not purple. More of a dark red brown.

It depends on what you are looking for and I agree with Hypathya. I have Murano and Reflets d'ombres. Murano can be really dramatic, which caught me by surprise many times as I'm forgetful.

Buble is really pretty!!

I don't have a bu either and use it sparigly cause I'm affraid I'll run out too. I have a very close shade, the 60, but it lacks the gorgeous yummy sparkle Bubble has.

Most of my items are LE too, but the fact that comforts me it's I have way much make up as it is!!

I just saw this 4 Fleurs lip palette here, which according to the blog is currenty being sold at DFS. Is it a new palette or an old one? I thought Chanel has previously released a palette like this.

I agree with the other ladies - it sort of depends on what kind of look you're after. Each of these quads is gorgeous in its own right......if I had to pick among the 3, it would be a toss-up between Murano and Enigma (I have all 3) - but Enigma for me is more versatile as I wear smoky purples a lot. But if you love teals/greens, Murano is the way to go. Reflects d'ombres for me is a little less exciting, except for the darkest color, which is beautiful.

Let us know what you end up with!

AND, I meant to tell you that my Nordies has the collection out, but they're reserving it for PRE-SELLS for Anniversary!!!! I wanted to get Orchid Rose, which is PERMANENT, and couldn't even do that!!! I think their exclusive quad was such a snoozer that they needed to do something exciting for anniversary - I told my MUA that was a dumb move because other stores already have it out. People will get frustrated and shop somewhere else.

I can understand exclusive items (like MAC and other lines) have to wait for anniversary, or whatever event they're having, but for Pete's sake, don't make an entire collection wait. That's still another week + away.

Sometimes I think Nordstrom is in a cave somewhere - they have no idea what's going on around them. And their loss - I bought my stuff from Sak's and Macy's.

I'm disappointed with PE after reading her review. I do get the powder bits after I swirl my brush on my JC and I didn't know the JC I get is different from those from the US. Maybe I can pass since I have Rose Petale.
