Well, it's that or the misty duo, because I am really lemming a nice purple-y eye for the fall. How did you find the misty duo irl?

I found this review of the Misty Soft Duo (just recently found this blog and omg, it's great!). Great pictures and swatches in the review...this duo will probably come home with me when they're released. She also reviewed/swatched the Khaki duo and I actually really like that one too. I was hoping to be able to pass on all of these, but at least 2 will more than likely end up being mine now.

^^ Thanks for the links! I like the lighter shade in Misty too when I swatched it at the counter.

Khaki is the one I wanted when I first saw the pics of the new duo, but somehow it doesn't seem popular. Does the colour flatter my dark brown eyes?

Today I finished my bottle of fluid Teint Innocent foundation!
choochoo.gif
Have been thinking if I should get another bottle of fluid TI or cream TI or Vitalumiere fuild.

Re: Chanel Discussion & Must Haves

The swatch of Pink Explosion looks really nice, not sure why the horrible review? I can't say I've had any issues with my JC's, and I get the Euro version here. Though after getting Rose Bronze CP'd from the states, I really love the way that one goes on, and it lasts a bit longer on me than the rest of the JC's I have (except for Imprevu, but maybe that's because it's darker?), but overall, can't say the difference is all that noticeable. I'll still pick up Pink Explosion.

I'll definitely be picking up the misty duo, it looks beautiful! I swatched the Vanities quad last night, it's nice, but definitely very purple. I've got Dior's Night Butterfly quint, which I love, so don't need this, but would have considered it otherwise.

I also really want the singles in Silage and Trace, Lotus has been dropped off the wish list!!!

You can see on her skintone Rose petale looks quite a bit peachier than Pink explosion, the difference is more pronounced than on my skin. The powdery texture really isn't bothering me tbh, but I do see what she means.

RP is peachier than PE on her. I will decide when I see it in person. If it were not LE I would definitely pass it for the time being.

I actually like it a lot, it's a nice neutral combo w/o being too brown. Works great for very conservative customer meetings
winks.gif

Funny though, the dark colour is not too red on me, otherwise I would not have bought it. I am in love with the light shade

Although is is awfully close to Hypnotizing.

Swatches, maybe they help someone:

Over the weekend the hubby and I put together this Lingerie Chest from Overstock.com for make-up storage (it's sold out now, got it just in time I guess):

Coventry 6-drawer Lingerie Chest | Overstock.com

It's awesome! It's the perfect size for our current bedroom, and when we move and I get an actual vanity area...I can use this for it's actual purpose. It took a while to build, but it's super sturdy and has those awesome gliding drawers, and it looks like it cost so much more than we spent...bonus! So today I figured out all the different trays/drawer organizers I need for each drawer and I'll be going to the Container Store tomorrow (I could spend 8 hours there and never notice, lol). Really excited to get everything re-organized and hidden away!

I've never had any complaints with my JC. They're along with the glosses, my favorite products in the Chanel line. The ones I think set them apart. I don't get the bad review. I've never had a powdery one, although my mom once had one, but I always thought it was a bad one, from a bad batch!!

Cute elephant, great swatches, great makeup storage!!! Thanks for all the pics! I love to see how you ladies organize....I don't have a Container Store near me so I have to compromise and go to Target and make due

It's so much fun (and very liberating) to have things organized and out of the way!! I am so loving my makeup room for this reason - maybe now I'll STAY organized!

I just bought an awesome awesome makeup 3 tray organizer that goes into your drawers at Ikea (the kids have one where they live) it even has plastic insert trays with 2 size holes for lipstick tubes/gloss. I only wish that I bought more....but I had a loaded bag with 144 big votive candles

as many on Specktra can attest to. It must ease the pain of hitting the submit button.

I'm so excited about the the RA Gloss! Glad I'm not the only one!

You haven't touch Roses! I didn't buy it because I knew I would not use it for fear of destroying the camelias. I used the 9 lip colour palette and I love the scent of them!
