Thank you, I really love the new piece of furniture too! I spent way too long at The Container Store today shopping for different sized trays to fit inside each drawer and organize everything just right. Hopefully when I get it all set up I'll be able to get some good pics to share.

Dropped by my Nordies counter today and picked up Pink Teaser and Paradoxal! LOVE this glossimer. It's so face-brightening and summery. The SA was being really persistent about me getting more.
I think I'll go back for the Cassis liner (and grab the Espresso liner while I'm at it).

I am using a sample of cream Vitalumiere foundation NC20 and it feels good. It gives just slightly more coverage than my fluid TI and feels just as light on my skin.
It matches my skin colour too. Dior's N20 foundation are too pale for me.
You ladies are so lucky to be able to skip foundation. I wear foundation mainly because it acts as a layer to block of dust from my face. I work and live in the city and I find my my face is dirtier at the end of the day when I skip foundation!

Sooo...I got my Chanel goodies today!! The SA confirmed that Enigma is perm, but the singles aren't, so I'm waiting on Enigma. I ended up getting: Rose Dilemma, Petit Peche, and Pink Teaser Glossimers, Chintz RA, Pink Explosion and Rose Temptation JCs, Taupe Grise e/s, and Paradoxal n/l. Whew! Lots of new stuff to play with! I'll probably take it out to CO with me so I can do a solid blog review and swatches.
I passed on Vert Khaki since it looks just like Mink & Sable. Chalys was really pretty, but verrrrry orangey on me, and Rose Dentelle didn't seem all that unique to me...pretty, but I have too many pink lipsticks as it is, so I passed on both of those. I'm on the fence about Coral Love. It really is pretty, and not too orangey. I might get that later if it's still available.
I also signed up for the Master Class on the 10th. Really excited for that because it means a whole morning of Chanel!

I stopped at the Chanel counter for the first time ever
the other day and they had just gotten a huge shipment of the Particuliere n/p. I know I am sooo late on this, but I sort of liked it, and now I keep thinking about if I should go back and get it.
So I am wondering what the opinions of the regular Chanel fans are on this one?

I really love Particuliere. The formula is classic Chanel - smooth with excellent coverage in two coats. I was on the fence at first, but once I put it on, it was

Thanks. I was thinking it would be nice for fall too.
The reason I didn't jump on it was that I'd like it to be just a little lighter, but I think my mindset on colors will be more vampy once fall comes.

Helloooo ladies!
Been without internet for a few days... again!!! Happy Canada Day to all the Cdn girls. It was also my baby girl's birthday yesterday, and we took the day off to spend with the kids. She picked up a really cute outfit for her party, and even though it didn't really show up, she had Chanel's Narcisse blush on her cheeks!
Cheryl, I love your fotd! You look gorgeous and your make-up looks great. I didn't even bother packing my bags, on my way as I type this!

See, I never have problems with mascara at all. I've used Chanel, Dior and now L'Oreal and it never migrates. Maybe one day I'll try blush without foundation or anything. I just pick myself apart so much that I like foundation on my face whenever possible to even myself out. I see what other people aren't looking for, I guess.

So happy that the shimmers are visible on the nail! Without flash, it looks like the fall version of Particuliere - both grey undertones! ETA: I just read the blog (only looked at the pics just now
) and the blogger said that Paradoxal is the violet cousin of Particuliere!

Interesting. What is and isn't LE with Chanel always seems to be a mystery! Early on I thought we read that only the JCs weren't perm? I guess it pays not to wait for too long on anything with them just in case.

I think Taupe Grise is really more neutral, mayyyybe slightly cool-toned. I don't have Jade Rose. I have a thing for Chanel Pinks, but that one never caught my eye.
I was told the LE items are the JCs, single shadows, Glossimers, and I assume the polishes, also.
I wore Rose Temptation to see Eclipse last night. It is such a nice, tawny rose color. I put a little Rose Petale on the apples of my cheeks and those two together just gave me the prettiest flush! Oh, and Eclipse totally rocked my world, for anyone who cares. Team Edward!!
