And that would only cost $10,897.99!

I agree though, if what you have is the same or a variation of the serum I got, it's really great. I have continued to use it for the last few weeks and my skin looks as good as it can, lol! Definitely a lot better than it was before. I have tried so many different creams, serums, etc, and looking back the only other product that provided a visible difference (apart from moisturizing) was also a Chanel serum.

Yeah, it would be a lil pricey

Its true, you can see a visible difference right away. I put it on the back of my hand & kept tell dh to look at it - look at my skin how different it looks

And, I kept touching the skin on my face after using it last night - so so so soft.

Happy 4th of July America!

So, we talked a little while ago about the Josie Maran Argan oil. I took off all nail polish from toes & fingers & rubbed it (sparingly) onto the nails & cuticles. Oh wow what a difference!!! The nails look so shiny healthy & youthful
icon_eek.gif
That oil is really really amazing. I even used a very very little bit on an unruly part of my hair & it made it silky smooth & behave itself. I love this oil.

That's right! Happy 4th of July to all the beautiful ladies in the U.S.! Hope you all had a great weekend.

I went by the Chanel counter on my way home today, and first off I just need to state, I am getting really annoyed at the lack of variety of shades here that is part of the U.S. line. We do not have the singles in Lavande or Khaki, poo.

So I ended up with Amethyst and Silage, the two look really pretty together and seem to blend so well. My lemming for a nice purple shadow has been satisfied for the time being! Will try them out tomorrow and report back!

I also tried to b2m for Moth to a Flame dazzleglass today, only to be told we can't b2m for dazzleglass... I have b2m'd before for the cremesheen and the dazzle creme or whatever the LE one's were called. DH is going to try another store tomorrow, but I guess it is possible that the policy has changed? Poo again.

Happy 4th of July, ladies! It was icky and rainy here pretty much all day. But for the first time in several years, I saw my sister on her birthday, lol! Yep, she's a Yankee Doodle Dandy, and since we've been adults, we usually spend the holiday with our separate friends. Today we had a nice family lunch with some relatives that were in town for the weekend. Then Vince and I headed down to the lake for some rain-soaked holiday fun. We hung out on the deck, under a tarp, with friends, had some wine, jello shots, and pineapple that was soaked in vodka (not as tasty as you'd think).

Now, I'm back home and I have my Chanel goodies all packed up for Colorado. I can't wait to play with them!

Well don't feel bad about Lavande! It's nowhere to be found here either, I looked awhile back. I don't know if it was LE or just discontinued awhile ago.

I dislike any sticky lotion/cream on my neck, so how does this serum feel on the neck? I'm currently using Clarin's firming neck cream, which is non-sticky and smells divine, but I'm looking for something that makes the skin more radiant.

After her Fall update Erin posted new B2M guidelines (in one of the new collection threads, maybe FF?) for the US that roll out right after the employees of each counter/store attend update. She wasn't sure if it would be the same change for other countries, but it sounds like that might be what's happened for you. I don't 100% remember the new list, but I do know that the more expensive glosses (cremesheen, dazzleglass, etc.) are not B2M-able anymore. Bummer!

That sounds like a fun 4th! Where in CO are you headed? The hubby and I are still pretty new here and clueless of places to visit.

Oh the serum is divine. No sticky or really any feeling of residue at all. It goes right into the skin & the skin has this healthy refreshed youthful glow. I can't say that the serum really has any smell, at least not one that stays.

That stinks! Everybody should have the same access to the products, especially off of the Chanel website. I will call my stores to see if it is even available. Is Amethyst a dark deep purple on?

Aggh, I have B2M for cremesheen before, so if we can't any more - thats a bummer for sure.

It's $135 - so yes, that is a lil bit up there for sure. Right now, the stores still have great size sample tubes of this - so everyone should see if they can snag one to try it out because they won't last long.

Thanks for the info! I also searched posts on MUA and saw someone else say the same thing.

I agree, it sinks right in. Mine has a fairly strong fragrance to it though.

It was about $175 here in Canada.

Tried Amethyst today with Sillage. It's a darker purple, but not too dark, and with the slight blue-ish duochrome, it definitely doesn't go red. It looked really pretty with Sillage, which in me is a light mauvey colour with a really pretty sheen, about the same tone as my skin (about nc25-30 atm). I really liked it, didn't go muddy on me like a lot of purples do. There's a darker smokey purple colour, can't remember the name but it was one of the three in the swatches Megan linked us to.

Holy cow!

I was so awed by the results, I may not have even noticed the fragrance

Honestly, I never spend time looking at all the singles - I should do that - well, maybe. Sillage sound very pretty, i will check it out.

Re: Chanel Discussion & Must Haves

I love the serum as well, and mine does not have a strong fragrance, but a light very-good-smelling-one. I agree with Elegant - if you can get samples, that's the way to go. I can get almost a week out of one tube. I have a few yet to go through, but am planning to purchase the large bottle during Nordie's anniversary (with the help of some Nordstrom notes and a customer loyalty bonus I just found out about). That size retails here for $185
icon_eek.gif
but I have to say it's my favorite of the products in this line (and I like all of the ones I've tried - which is everything except the day lotion - I forget the name). Future purchases for me will be 1) the eye cream, 2) the night cream, and 3) the day cream.

Yes - there's a 1 oz and a 1.7 oz - I'm not sure if the larger size is available everywhere, but I have it in my Nordie's cart.......

That sounds so pretty! I want both Amethyst and Sillage.

I have to say, I really love the single e/s. For some reason I like picking them up in pairs...like how I'd wear them together on my eyes (I often use only 2-3 colors in a total eye look). I find with these singles they blend so nicely I don't want to pair them with colors from another brand.
