Now that I have that free shipping code, I want to do another order for myself. Do you ladies like Rose Delimma more than Mica? I also really want Waterlilly and Magnifique (I might have to call Nordstrom for that Venus). I have also been eying Rose Sand. Too many choices! Which are your faves our of this bunch??

There was a cute little baggie of samples. One of Chance lotion, Coco Mademoiselle perfume, makeup remover, and I think the serum. There may be more, but I haven't really looked. Been busy getting my blog entries up!

It was a lot of fun. Playing with makeup is always fun!

That's a tough one Michelle - Mica to me is a must-have - it's sooooo pretty and versatile. The others are very pretty too - Waterlilly, since it is LE and pretty, might be a better bet in terms of timing. I love Rose Sand too (I know I'm not helping) but Magnifique would probably be at the bottom of the list for me. In fact, the order I put them here is probably the order I would get them

- and if Nordie's has the Venus, you MUST get that one before it is gone for good.

I just got back from Nordies - scored a huge sample jar of the serum and night cream to get me by for a bit longer.....I'm such a hound for those things if it helps me postpone the *big* purchase, IYKWIM

I'm glad you like Jazzed too - I snagged a backup tonight just in case I can't find it again - I wasn't sure I would like it, but it pays to swatch swatch swatch!! I am also loving the Digipops Dazzle lipsticks (I know, off topic) but I have really been surprised by them - no grit, and the colors are *wow*!

Sounds like you had a good day, too, Elegant - good job getting the workout in - I'm going to the gym in the morning.

And one last thing - I just broke open my Le Coton - wanted to finish my 'pedestrian' cotton pads first (

Totally a Chanel noob here, but were Genial and Super both really limited edition? I thought they came out around Feb, and now they are nowhere to be found anywhere...should I try the nordstrom dpc or are there other channels to get this still?

they'r both LE and sold out at all the counters around me (I'm in Canada). Also, they were part of summer collection and I think they came out in April, def not as early as Februrary

Hey ladies... it's been a very looong day. Up at 4:30 at my mum's, so I ended up going to work for the morning. Then off for a much needed haircut and then to the in-laws for MIL's 75th. So no shopping for me today!

For those of you that did get Rose Tempation, what are your thoughts? For some reason, I am eyeing this one now instead of PE, since it looks like it may very well suit olive skintones.

I can't comment on Rose Delimma yet since we don't have it here. Mica is really pretty but definitely on the pale side, I also really like Magnifique, even though it's not that exciting because it's literally my lip colour with shimmer so I keep that one in my purse all the time, but wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for something unique.

Heidi: Yesterday I went to The Make Up Studio to check foundations for you... The lightest shade they had was 30 which it's my own!! I'm NC 30, btw. So nothing really close to NC15!! The lightest of them all was the 30 from Mat Lumiere, but still more yellow and darker than NC15.

I'll ask my SA when I go pick my fall goodies, but it's going to take a month or so more!!


Susanne, I must agree with both Heidi and Meg!! But Super it's a RA. If you want to try RA, then perhaps you should check Exquise as well. Orchidee it's gorgeous!!

I went to one once!! Truly enjoyed it.

Since my dear and beloved Chanel SA was moved from the biggest counter in the city (Le Make Up Studio) to one of the smallest (but only 5 minutes away from her home) and I remain totally loyal to her, I guess there will not be any Chanel Master Classes in my future!! But Alma totally worths it!!

Both were most definitely LE. It was a blink-and-they're-gone type of dealie for those particular lippies, along with Nouvelle Vague LV. (I'm in the US.) I think your best bet would be to find someone who wants to swap theirs.

These lippies feel great on - no grit at all - I LOVE them!! One day I'll tell you guys what I DON'T love.......and there are some products that fit that category, believe it or not!!

And I'll do lip swatches of all of the glossimers you mentioned here in a bit - still waking up and heading out for our weekly breakfast. But I'll post them today.

And yes, you can totally get away with this being your anniversary present to hubby

Great choices! The ladies here have shared some great colours and I agree. I have Gardenia and I love it. I have a small sample tube of Legende and I purchased Mademoiselle and Gardenia. Legende is a dark rose on me rather than pink while Gardenia is lighter but warmer.

Rose Dentelle or Chintz from the fall collection will be mine too!

Oh yes, if you want any glossimiers, RA or RA Lacques, we have plenty to recommend too.

LOL! We could all learn a lot from your mom! I imagine it would feel like a big accomplishment to finish a product... i've gotten close, and then gone out and bought three or four more things, lol!

My mom's really into make-up too, doesn't collect like we do, but does have a lot of it, thing is... it's all in the same colour family!!! I cannot get her to try different things!
