Gardenia is gorgeous and I think it may be perm in Europe? I know it is perm in Australia. It was a Neimans exclusive LE here.

I think maybe elegant and/or Cheryl have Legende? Not sure. I was interested in Ruban Rose from Karla's swatches as well but people sort of turned me off it when they said it was an overly frosty cantaloupe shade - and I forgot to look at it myself in person when I had the chance the other day. Darn!

Yes, Legende is a must-have!!! I also LOVE Rose Comete - it's a 'lighter' pink and is gorgeous on. Ruban Rose and many of the other pinks come out very orange on me (I'm NW25) so I stay away from most of them - but they look great on others

I also have Comedia, and it's pretty, but not as fab as Legende (on me). I also have Tafetas Rose, which is a brighter rosey-red-pink, but it's also one of my favorites - more for fall for me however.

I'll try to post some lip swatches later for you to get an idea......

- I'm also not the greatest photographer in the world, so take them with a grain of salt - they're fairly close to 'IRL' though......

I love Cassis! The color is just awesome...it's got enough of a plum/purple tone to really bring out my green eyes without screaming PURPLE LINER!!!!!!! That can be hard for me with my fair skin, but this one just works beautifully. It's got enough black in it to really define and thicken the lash line easily, and the wear time is ridiculous! It wears like iron on me, and does not budge.

I love it, and I agree with Cheryl...this may be backup worthy. I can really see this being my every day liner.

The pic in my avatar is actually Punky Brewster! It's from a TV show I was crazy about when I was growing up, but she IS totally adorable. Susanne I think you'd look gorgeous in any of them! Legende and Mademoiselle have high reviews from just about everywhere and for me personally I really like Orchidee as well. If you want something softer, you should check out some of the new shades released with the Fall collection. Rose Dentelle and Chintz are both really gorgeous pinks (RD is cooler, Chintz a bit more peach).

I know you didn't ask about this, but if you're interested at all in the Rouge Allure Lacques I think you might really like Phoenix. It's stunning!

Hey everyone! I haven't visited in quite awhile (apparently 40 pages ago) but I was just thinking about the discussions we briefly had about weight loss. Thought I'd pop in with a bit of inspiration here (and also to keep myself motivated). This Chanel thread somehow worked as motivation bcs I've lost 12 pounds in the last month! Woohoo! Only... uhh... 40 more to go. So, looks like when all else fails.......... think Chanel. It's true, even my blush looks better on my slightly thinner face.

In other news.....
At 20 pounds.......... New JC's. Can. Not. Wait. I will pump iron for JCs.

Winthrop -- I got Legende in that Coco Rouge blister sample pack. It is seriously gorgeous!! I also have Comedia and love it -- it is like the lipstick version of Courtisane glossimer (on me). I also want Rose Comete -- sucker for all pinks!

I got my goods from ITG -- I ended up loving Jazzed l/s with On the Scene creme sheen glass on top. The Love to Love eye trio was fab -- the MUA did a great bronzey look on me.
Now on to my Chanel haul LOL

I thoroughly enjoyed the Master Class this morning. It was informative and I got to try out a bunch of stuff that I'd been wanting to, and even some stuff that I'd never thought to try.

You guys are so right, the Chanel skincare is amazing. It's also amazingly expensive, so I don't think I'll be switching to it anytime soon...unless of course, I hit the jackpot. I ended up getting the Reflets D'Ombre Quad and Wild Rose Glossimer. I also nabbed the last Coral Love Glossimer - it was fate.

Good point - you might find a Nordies that has neither and can get you both shipped for free if that code won't work anymore on Chanel!

Did you try selecting UPS Ground as your shipping method ($7.95), then enter the code and hit submit underneath the box where you enter the code? That changes the shipping cost to 0 for me.

Success! I tried the code again and it worked (I probably forgot to hit submit after I typed in the code the first time). Yay -- I got Chintz l/s, Petite Peche glossimer, and Tendresse for my friend's birthday (she loves soft peachy colors). And the box/ribbon make it look so darn cute!!
