Oh, I got my Chanel Pink Satin Blush today

It is FABULOUSLY GORGEOUS!!! could be my all time fave blush ever!!!!! You were so right!

Elegant -- hope you find something fun to do! I know how it is when you are just not in the mood to do anything. I'm sure that is hard now that the kids are gone -- I always get sad when company leaves, too

Cheryl -- looking at your lipglosses reminded me of how much I want Rose Sand and Wild Rose. You have a great pout in your pics!!

Today is my little girls birthday and I just made her cake -- chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and chocolate ganache on top . . . all from scratch. Can you say chocoholic?? I am trying not to dive head first into the cake! Now, off to do the dishes . . .

Tell me about this...I must have missed that discussion. How come I've never heard of this one? I've heard of Rose Satin. Was Pink Satin an overseas exclusive? Where are you finding it?

Well, Cheryl bought it on Ebay, but it comes in a tester plastic casing. Its a tester replacement, but it comes perfect. She ranted about it - so I bought it & got it today. Its a disc. JC blush called Pink Satin. I don't know if it was an overseas exc.? Its a straight up pink raspberry! More raspberry than BB PR!
On me, it looks barbie pink raspberry

It could possibly be my fave. blush ever! And, its really not like any other blush color I own

Winthrop!!! It is AWESOME!!! I'm glad to see that it's the same as Rose Satin......I just happened across it on ebay one day, and figured what the heck. And I have used nothing else since I got it 2 weeks ago (and I've worn makeup for most of the last 2 weeks). It is my HG blush....and now I am thinking backup!!! Of a JC!!! I have more blush (and, er, everything else) than Carter's has little pills.........but this one is ROCKIN'!!

And oh yeah, Elegant is right - that swatch does NOTHING for the color - I have some pics posted a page or two back -

I don't just like it - I LOVE LOVE it! I thought that it made my skin look good too - like soften/diffused also. Of all the darn pink blushes that I own, nothing really looks like it. I agree - this one is backup worthy because I too can see myself wearing this one ALL the time. And, prolly won't be able to get it again.

I swatched it against so many of my other pink blushes - just so I could tell Winthrop

that it wasn't like my others

Bonitinha, hope your baby girl has a great birthday! I think our little one's are very close in age, and I have no doubt they'll be on here in about another 10 years or so (under our watchful eyes).

Just had to do a lil quick comment, today is my older sis's b-day too! The cake sounds divine...

Oh and tell me why I have been wearing Enigma almost like everyday since I got it??!! And the 2 single shadows are silently calling my name, oi I have expensive taste!

Thank you Nora! We had a fun day. It was my middle daughter's birthday -- she turned 8. My baby has a birthday towards the end of Aug and she will be 5. What is going on??

They are supposed to stay tiny forever! Oh yes, I know they'll be on here trying to find the latest scoop on makeup when they are older! My youngest already has a thing for Chanel -- she is always trying to wear those glossimers (umm, no way!).

Elegant and Cheryl -- thanks for the birthday wishes for my lil one! Now I am exhausted and ready for bed. Cheryl -- I did give them each some glosses from that kit. They were in heaven!

The only thing holding me back on the blush is the tester packaging...I don't think I can handle that. I'm pretty OCD with my make-up storage and having 1 without the "case" would totally bug me every time I see it!

I think I can skip the liner now. When it is waterproof it won't show up on my waterline like the greasepaint sticks and the MUFE aqualiners

I do not have a problem with liners smudging and I really like the MAC liners. UD not so much.
Maybe if I like the colours a lot, I think I do not have a plum liner

Well, the blush is so gorgeous that I quickly got past the casing. I just leave it in the plastic & pop it open like I would a reg. case. Tacky yes, but no one but me will see it
