Too bad you don't have cdp, Hypathya. But you can save money for more Chanel.

Darling was kind of a disappointment to me. It didn't look 'Pink' to me.

Glad you like Genial! Is it like Temptalia's swatch? I hope the summer collection will be launched early next month. I'm so excited.

I'm always looking for the next best concealer too! How long did you finish the cdp concealer? It looks like it can last me a long long time.

I very briefly checked out Super and Genial yesterday - I'm a bit on the fence about them. I was in a rush so didn't really spend much time with them. I'm due to go back this week to pick up some of the Pret a Papier items and will investigate further
th_wink3.gif
. I did pick up Rose Comete RC and Pink Sand glossimer....couldn't resist!

Anyway, how did you found them???

The consistency seemed ok, but she couldn't find one that looked good with my skin tone

She did show me a concealer by La Mer & I really really liked it - it was $65

Anyone here tried it^? Seems like it gets pretty good reviews

Its close to Temptalia's pic but not that bright, and a little deeper pinky coral on my lips. Verry summery pretty.

I'm not even close to finishing my cdp & I've had it awhile. It will last forever.

Oh no, if my cdp concealer last forever then I have no chance of picking up new concealer.
lol.gif

Thanks! I look forward to bringing Genial home.
smiles.gif

I read good reviews on the La Mer concealer too but I don't dare to go to the counter to try it. What if I fall in love with it? Then I have to part with a lot of money for it. Maybe when my cdp concealer is finishing I can try it...

Your cdp will last like forever

The look of La Mer was very nice! But, that is in the store & not actually tried under my eyes
ssad.gif
I wish they would make sanitary samples that you could take home to try out - especially when its that pricey. The really good thing about the La Mer is that it has the spf 25 & it suppose to be healthy & hydrating for the under eye area. Lots of gals liked it for covering up redness & spots too.

I hope you like Genial if it comes home with you!

On the La Mer price - it does come with a brush, so considering that I guess its not too pricey. I would rather that they left the brush out & made it cheaper.

OK, ladies, I need help and I am coming to the experts. Most of my experience with Chanel has been lippies. I picked up Poudre Douce in Almond when it came out and it has been sitting in my traincase waiting to be loved ever since. I am not sure how to use it. Is it a highlight powder or can it be used all over? Also, for those of you who recently purchased Genial l/s is it milky? I am looking for a hot, bright, more on the orange side coral.

Hi Darlin!

I don't know a thing about Almond. Genial is not at all milky. Its vibrant without being neon or overly bright. Its more on the pink coral side than the orange coral side. You can make it more vibrant with a heavier application.

Elegant,
I thought of you when I bought Super. Do you have it? I get sticker shock when I pay $30 for l/s but this one just kept calling my name and my Nordies only got 6 of each shade so I knew I had to get it then or I wouldn't get it at all.

Yes
smiles.gif
I did get Super.
blush-anim-cl.gif
that just made my day that you thought of me!
I also got Riviera - the matching nail polish. I LOVE both a lot!!!

I struggle with that $30 price tag every time I buy a Chanel ls - but you just have to have some of them.

I really, really am loving Genial.

I also just bought 2 Bobbi Brown Illuminating bronzers in Antigua & Maui
drools.gif
It was makeup day at Nordies yesterday & I was so excited to be able to see & play in all the colors. I am like a kid in the candy store around makeup.

I'm pretty sure the Poudre Douces are meant to be used all over. I know several people who use the Rosee instead of loose powder, and have seen others say they can be used as a color corrector. Here's what Chanel says about it:

"The beauty of sheer loose powder in a convenient compact for application any time, anywhere. Sets and perfects makeup, while light-reflecting pigments enhance and highlight skin’s natural radiance."

I bought the ridiculously priced Hydramax lip balm. I've only used it 3 times but I like it so far. It melts into the lips and sort of feels like the texture of a Tendertone once it's on, despite looking waxy in the pot. It has a sort of florally-coco rouge like scent but I guess it can't be too bad since I can stand it!
lol.gif
I'll have to use it for a longer period of time before deciding whether it was really worth it or not.

My daughter in law isn't quite into it like me - yet! She likes Bobbi Brown, but told me the other day she is really getting into Chanel
greengrin.gif

Yesterday, I bought her Bobbi Browns cheek tint in sheer pink - its soooo pretty. I send her makeup all the time. I even bought her a pair of those colorful mini tweezerman tweezers the other day. Since I only have a son - I LOVE sharing everything girly with her.

I looked at my stash this morning

Good thing you got it! It's back-ordered on the US site. And the Shanghai Collection polishes are completely gone! So glad I nabbed Illusion D'Or when I did.
