I also 'pre-ordered' that Smashbox concealer. I guess it's something I just have to get the 'hang' of - I've not ever worn it much so don't get enough practice, but I'm getting to that point where I really should use it.......

Hey doll!

concealer can require a science

I have really dark circles so I layer. BE first, then I use a waterproof concealer that you can no longer buy

then I'll add a lightener like MUFE or another brightener.

Too bad the Smashbox one is advance order

I got my Shontay's Lumiere today - LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Also used Chanel's 50 spf too - I LOVE how it makes the skin look!

ps...I am a dork on so many things its not funny

Has anyone tried the Bikini Peach Glossimer yet? I don't have a Chanel counter by me. The online swatches are horrible!! On the Chanel website or the Nordstrom website -- the swatches don't seem to every look like the colours in real life. I am looking for some gorgeous peachy pink blushes and lippies/glosses . . . Would love any suggestions!

I just swatched Bikini Peach in person & I thought it was a beautiful pinky peach with beautiful shimmer. I think that it will mostly depend on your natural lip color as to whether or not you like it on. I loved the color, but didn't buy it because I have a lot of similar shades already.

Did you only want Chanel pink peach blushes or other makeup lines? Narcisse would be one I could recommend in the Chanel line.

BTW - if that is you in your pic - you are GORGEOUS!

Ladies, I treated myself to some Chanel yesterday and got Phoenix lacque. I love this pinky raspberry shade, super flattering on. I think this is def not my last Chanel Lacque, lol!

I'm looking to try a Chanel foundation too - is there one that you like?

I'll give the concealers a whirl and see what I end up with - my major problem is that the days I go into work I'm usually pressed for time and stick to my 'main' routine - my days off I sometimes give my skin a 'breather' so I don't play....but this week I'm going to try some new things.

I hit the CCO earlier today and snagged a couple of Bobbi Brown eye shadows (that collection is growing too - I need another palette!) in Mint and Cognac.....

You should try the UV Essentiel! It has this wonderful (oil free) mattifying (sp?) affect on the skin making it look so pretty. I wanted something to wear when I do a little gardening. You have to shake it first which I did not know & lost a fair amount of product

its expensive for such a little bottle! But worth it.

I don't wear foundation 95% of the time

- I hate foundation. But when I do I use Smashbox Halo Hydrating which is very nice & does not break my skin out. My blushes look better without foundation

Thats why I spend so much on Chanels skin products - I want great looking skin.

I want a HUGE bottle of Chanels Base Lumiere!!! Its amazing

Most of the time if I am not going anywhere I don't wear any makeup

Yes! Chanel is being real slick by putting it in a small bottle and making it hard to see how much you have left. It'll make me paranoid and I'll buy a new bottle every 2 weeks.

I can't help you with Bikini Peach as the collection hasn't arrived here... but I definitely can help you with that pink peach blush you want, GET TEA ROSE!!!

Narcisse is more pink than peachy, IMO. Tea rose, on the other hand, has the perfect balance between pink and peach, it's just absolutely gorgeous!!

From the long discontinued line Irreele, Chanel kept two shades and incorporate them into their Joues Contrast Blushes: Tea Rose and In Love. IMO the greatest Chanel blush shades ever.

Do tell us what did you ended with and how do you like it!!

Yep, I agree, Tea Rose JC for a pinky peach JC. Narcisse is more like a MAC Well Dressed sort of pink, and is also discontinued (at least here in the US). If you scroll back a couple of pages you can find some discussion and a link to some very accurate pics of of Bikini Peach.

My skin is essentially 'normal', dry in winter, 'mature'. My usual go-tos are MAC Studio Sculpt and Revlon ColorStay. I just like something to even out my skintone - not so much because I need it, I just like the 'layer'. I must be the only one!

I'm going to Nordstrom on Friday - my MAC MUA is good about recommendations too - I'm open to all suggestions!

Shypo, I doubt your Nordstrom has it (very few do so far), but if you can get your hands on a sample of Chantecaille Future Skin (try calling Saks in Naples FL or Neimans in Atlanta) you should really give it a try. It is heavenly!

I placed a nice little order for myself today...Black Velvet n/p, Secret Rouge Coco & Santal RA Laque Ialso used the code they gave me with last weeks order ( 0310rougecoco) for a mini coco in Legende & got another sample card of the cocos. I love the coco sample cards, with todays order I now have 4! Last week I kept placing individual orders cause I kept deciding I needed more polishes LOL so thats why I had gotten the other sample cards. I should have placed 3 individual orders for today's stuff cause each order would have shipped free & I could have gotten more nice samples

I think I have 4 sample cards also! Don't you just love the free shipping. I got the mini legende too - I loved that color so that was nice to get that one. I just know that I'll order again

I might just go ahead and order the Bikini Peach. I was just curious about the Chanel blushes. I will have to check out Narcisse. I have a ton of MAC blushes, but have been wanting to branch out.

Blushes are something you almost have to see in person. The recommendations above from the other gals are good. If you get Bikini Peach - let us know how you like it.
