If anyone is interested, apparently last year Nordstrom brought in 'Muscat' glossimer for their half-yearly sale. This is a color that was previously released only in Asia - it's a light pink-beige tone with shimmer. It's still on their website, though not where you might expect to find it. If you do a search on lipgloss, it will come up about halfway down the page.

I 'ordered' it, but I'm not sure I'll get it - we'll see.

Just in case anyone is looking for this color - not that you want to pay Nordie's shipping.......

Have you seen any real swatches of Muscat Shypo? I almost ordered that a hundred times last year but was only going off the description and Nordies swatch...

oh, this months Allure features Megan Fox wearing all kinds of Chanel makeup. One was es Deep Taupe - you know, the one I was forbidden to touch

You'll love it - I swatched it again yesterday, along with HR - they're both, as you've said before, gorgeous, but the Taupe has bangin' color payoff! It's really pretty, and reminds me of the darkest color in the Demure quad.

They're all matte, in case folks didn't know - matte but the texture is very smooth and blendable.....

In addition to the Chanel smiley, we need a 'generic' enabling smiley.......I know we're in the presence of the Queen

but maybe

fits the bill

I think the new shades are not really available online anywhere except Chanel.com yet. The b/o date on NM is 6/7 so I guess other online sites should have them in about a week or so. The splash page doesn't work yet on Chanel but one thing I noticed was that if you go into What's New under Makeup on Chanel.com under the single e/s it says LE, so I would guess that at least some of these shades are not perm?

I went to pick up my two GA glosses today, and did quickly go by a Chanel counter.

Winthrop, I looked for Adorable RA for you, but only did a quick scan and didn't see it. I saw all Admirable, but not Adorable!!! Also swatched Exquise again, ya, so getting this!

Also, I asked the SA about the new duos, first off, she was bitchy. This wasn't my usual counter. First she showed me the summer stuff, and I said, nooo, I'm referring to the new duos, which as far as I know aren't LE, and i've heard they're due out in June. So then she admitted she hadn't been to her "update" in a while, so she wasn't sure. Pffft.

So I'm no help ladies, but I know I'm not waiting till the fall to get Exquise, so may have to get this soon all on its own!

And nope, didn't get anything else today!

Isn't it funny when you know more about upcoming launches than the makeup artists? That happened to me at MAC quite a few times. I guess they aren't online reading up on all of the new goodies LOL

I keep going back and forth between Darling and Exquise RA's.

hmmm, thats a tough one on the lippies. Its been awhile since I swatched Darling...I was thinking that I wished it had more pink to it

could've been the crazy lighting in the store though.

Camnagem ~ I think we know the answer for you: get both Darling and Exquise

One can never have too many pink lippies!! I have been eying both of those as well. From looking at different swatches, I think Exquise is more pigmented -- but Darling does seem fab for summer. Sometimes I like a sheer lip color for summer. I do love the golden pink shimmer in Exquise though!

so, I just ordered (backorder) Deep Taupe & Heather Rose shadows from Neiman Marcus. I wanted to secure the order while they still had free shipping. I really don't think that I have another shadow like Heather Rose.

I LOVE Darling! It's my easily my favorite and most used lipstick. Swatched on the the hand and in the tube it seems just meh, and it's hard to capture on camera (Temptalia's picture doesn't really resemble it too much). But it is a perfect (for me) rose pink (with a touch of brown) MLBB--not too dark, not too light, not too flat--and a wonderful formula. I also owned Exquise (I RAOK'ed after a year of non-use), which I somehow didn't love. It isn't quite frosty, but too frosty for me, and the formula is not one of the more creamy RAs (although it's still nice).
