I found a really weird site that pimps out girls and gives them free breast implants

I can come up with plenty of words that have meanings that are factual (although I wouldn't label a definition that uses the word "compromised" as terribly objective) descriptions. The problem is it's pretty obvious that most of the time people are throwing these words around in an attempt to denigrate the target.

We have some ladies on this site that are, or have been, strippers, right?

Would any of you tell them that they are whoring themselves or would you choose different words?

Straight from the American-Heritage dictionary:

whore
n.
1. A prostitute
2. A person considered sexually promiscuous
3. A person exhibiting compromised behavior for personal gain.

Whereas I can't make a statement on whether or not these women sell themselves for cash, or whether they are even promiscuous outside of Internet La-La-land, I can say that what they're doing sounds an awful like like #3 to me.

ANYWAY, I just wanted to make the point that the word has many meanings and many implications, and it could be easy to make an offhand comment like MissChievous' without meaning to offend. I hope I didn't... OFFEND.

Thank you so much, that is exactly what I was trying to say. I think calling someone a whore, and whoring oneself out for personal gain, are 2 different things, and point 3 of that translation is exactly what I meant. There are different ways it can be interpreted.

If a stripper/sex worker on Specktra asked for my opinion about their life and their actions, which I doubt would ever happen, I might give it. Otherwise, I wouldn't offer any opinion one way or another.

That's pretty much what I figured.

Sorry to come in late, but I just wanted to state my opinion.

Though I believe sites like this don't particularly showcase the integrity of an intellectual 21st century woman, I'm also aware that not everyone would share my definition of integrity. Sure, what these girls are doing could be seen as skanky, but I would never go as far as to call them whores. They aren't placing themselves in a situation where their bodies would be open for business, they're simply using their assets to get what they want. While I don't necessarily agree with how they're going about it, in reality all they are doing is showing a little (then maybe a little more) skin that they know a target group men will be willing to pay for. It's a business transaction in a way, and sure, I may think it's a little tarty, but their actions don't affect me. If it pays the bills, so to speak, and doesn't involve anything illegal, I don't see why they shouldn't do it if they're happy and fully understand what it entails. Forgive me if that made little sense/lacked a point. I'm rather sleepy.

I wouldn't tell anyone anything unless they asked me what I thought. There's a difference between commenting on some general Internet practice (like flashing for $) and saying something hurtful to some particular woman (or women) here on this forum about her life choices. No, I wouldn't do the latter.

Ok what's sad is that my first thought was "free boobies sign me up!!!" and what's even worse is that 4 or 5 years ago I was going to get breast implants but am sssooo glad I didn't because I don't know what happened but I went from a size B to a size D and no sagging had I gotten them I would fall over.

I saw this on the news like 3 months ago.. the owner/creater was saying that he made the site one night when he came home from a bar, drunk. the next day when he wasn't so drunk anymore he checked it out and there was actually people on it, using it. He said him and his friends made it so that the "perfect" girl can be formed.. crazy right?

there is another website online, i forgot the name of it lol.. but it teaches young girls to become "materialistic bimbos" its a game where young girls can pick a character to be and give him plastic sugery, let them go to bars, go shopping for skanky outfits.. ect.. that was on the news like 2 months ago
