^^^ Agreed. That is also why I added I'm sure you knew that already. I just wanted to point that out for anyone who may not have seen the obviousness. And believe me, that is not just a problem w/ internet debates, but w/ people in general. They don't alway infer what you assume they will. :-/ Lol, perhaps I have little faith in others, but I've found it best to point out everything, even the obvious.

I promised myself after the 2000 and 2004 elections, that I wouldn't get worked up over any single issue or distracting media event related to a presidential election. They don't matter. People were sooooooooo worked up about the gay marriage issue talkin bout the sanctity of marriage and why this and why that.. in the end what happened?
People were sooooooo outraged about terry shiavo and them pulling the plug on her.. saying ooooohhh this is wrong and that.. just think about how many people got the plug pulled on them since. and does anyone care. can we even remember all the reasons why. hell no.

so you know.. who the hell cares about people and their stupid ghost. hopefully, once this is over they can resume worrying about their job security and bank solvancy

Well said, I totally agree. My statement was meant to assure everyone that it is socially unacceptable to "mock" hang anyone regardless of color. But while they are both unacceptable, one does seem to carry more severity than the other and I just think that's kind of backwards. People are people. This is 2008.

Let me just say that ANYONE who would do that is kind of backwards... I mean what the hell... I live in the south and I have seen some disturbing things still involving race issues. (NOT that this was racially motivated, because I don't believe it was) It's just an annoying double standard. I'm not shocked by this... because I've seen far worse. But it is hypocritical for people to "chuckle" or not react to this in the same way as if it were an African American. I look at everyone the same. It's 2008 for God's sake.

Nah miss world doesnt care if you agree with her opinion just whether its silly reasoning or not, in addition to things being equal all across the board(and who doesnt need a rebel breaker). The chick is pretty friggin awesome actually. I mean here I am a black woman getting ready to put on some electric blue eyeshadow one weekend I said it had the hotness elements to it, she said it didnt. But hey maybe she let me go out with it on since she knew cute guys were going to be there.
