Ok, after seeing swatches and reading reviews, here's my tentative list:

- Marquise d' or Blow Dry lippie
- Live and Dye or Soft Wave lipglass (Maybe both)
- Henna es
- Knight es
- Blonde MSF
- Redhead MSF
- 226 brush
- 214 brush

Still thinking if i should get the 165 and the Brunette MSF! Though my list is pretty short, but if i get everything from mentioned here plus the 165 and the Brunette MSF it's gonna cost me more than one grand in my local currency... MAC is such an expensive hobby!

Okay, I just made my order. I didn't get any eyeshadows. I can easily dupe my favorites with ones I already have. I couldn't pass up the MSFs.

My original list was about $200 so I did a good job of weeding things out.

Hey all! I was looking through my haul again last night and realized that I bought Top Knot (I wasn't going to...). I think I meant to tell the MA that I wanted all of the shadows except for Deep Shade AND Top Knot. Anyway, that being said, does anyone have a look for Top Knot (like other eyeshadows to pair it with)? I don't know...I'm on the fence about keeping this one....maybe I'll go in and exchange it for the penultimate liner which I'm dying to try!

When I don't know how to use certain colors I just use one of the facecharts that are on MAC's site. That should be a pretty easy color to use too!

to Melissa: Hmm red devil has pink tones, I dont think it looks anything like Shine Manish.

Its a bright coral pinkish color with gold flecks. (mmm its perfect! haha)

The lipcolour swatches on the site that must not be named are lovely, and now I'm definitely getting Strawberry Blonde and Red Devil. Chignon and Quick Tease are thankfully sheer enough that I should be able to wear them and make it work. I'll need to see All's Fair in person, though; it may be too sheer on my pigmented lips.

Almost $300 later... I placed my BBR order. And that was AFTER scaling back on quite a few items. Dammit!

hmmm, favorites...

e/s: deep shade [takes a little more work to apply, but it's still beautiful], henna [it looks a lot like sumptuous olive, there may be more gold to henna however, it applies like a dream...], 100 strokes [most gorgeous color EVER, seriously, everyone should get this. it's what beauty marked should have been], pincurl [very unique color, well to me at least, beautiful!], flip [beautiful creamy light gold].

all the other colors are great too, but they are either lacking in one aspect or "just ok."
ok: femme fi [great application + pigmentation], knight [the same], top knot [looks better in the pot

lacking: french cuff [very lustrey. pretty, though it takes some effort to get it to show up]

l/g: ALL of them. GORGEOUSNESS.

l/s: marquise'd, chignon, all's fair, blow dry. pretty much all the less frosty ones. i like them [frosts] but, it's gonna take me awhile to warm up to them.

i haven't used the brushes yet, but they are soooo soft. oh, i used the 214 to pack on my eye shadow swatches. it did a pretty good job. can't wait to test them out some more. ahhhh, the potential...

MMMM you got the WHOLE collection didnt you? Your swatches are a dream! Im sooo glad you swatched Red Devil and Shine Manish! <3 <3 <3! Im soooo glad I got red devil now... and all 3 eyeshadows i b2m'd for are your faveorites tooo...

I;ve been looking for a description of the brushes but can't find. Can someone detail the function of the three new brushes (what they can be used for).
I'm trying to justify them. LOL

Now I'm REALLY regretting not getting 100 Strokes yesterday, after hearing how much people are liking it. I swatched Sketch on my hand before I went to compare, and even though Sketch was definitely more purple, I passed on it. I think I'm going to order it online and also get Snob LS from the perm line and the 109 brush too.

Now, I just have to say.. The graphic designer who did the promotional picture for BBR on the MAC website did a really terrible job. I mean, the text is just thrown on there in a completely uninspired way.. but honestly, whoever approved the promotional image was on crack.

I put my order in, the only things I got that weren't on my must have list, i did add in peroxide l/g

So the 2 msf's (redhead and blonde) brushes, and a l/g not too bad. I probably would have gone crazy if I hadn't been sucked in by the FF sale earlier in the week. That kept me to my shopping list.

Foxhills Macy's right? I saw Cult of Cherry there too and my MA had no clue about Red Devil. So I had to go to the freestanding in Santa Monica for it. They didn't have French Cuff either.
