You couldn't tell the difference? You tried it on top of AR and you couldn't tell the difference in that combo and what? I am not understanding..or Are you saying you tried it next to AR...AR is one color and Brunette has several what strip was the same or am I totally lost as to what you are comparing?

I never cared for collections but you guys got me into the hype!! I got a nice haul today but only 3 from bbr

Brunette msf... love it!!!!!

The last two colors look exactly like ambering rose blush on my cheeks! But I just love msf's period so, it's cool cuz the first two are the shit as hightlighter both on the browbone and cheeks!

I agree with someone that the shadows are dupable! But i picked flip cuz it's beautiful!!! If u love yellowish golds GET IT!

Lastly red devil is also sooooo gorgeous!

I'm NW45 by th way !

Now I kno why you guys get excited over collections. Thx for nuturing me!!

YES!!!!!! They are the same. I just washed my makeup off are i would show u.

I actually brought both today and i realized they looked similiar while in the store but it's not until i got home and put ambering rose on one cheek and the darker side of brunette on the other and they were identical (sp)!! The very slight difference is there is a bit more of a gold sheen in brunette. im still comtemplating bringing ambering rose back

okay...so...i went to mac's website to order and i totally caved

initial list:

BUT, i ended up getting:
Henna e/s <-- cause I don't have Sumptuous Olive
Knight e/s <-- don't have Knight Divine either
#226 <-- perfect crease brush for me
#214 <-- like Erine said, we need a smudgy smudge brush

#165 <-- i don't know why i get this. maybe it's the inner me that needs all 3 brushes

Blonde and Redhead MSF <-- my first and second MSF!!! thanks to all of u enablers here

And Spiritualize p/g from metal urge (yeah...I'm slow. )

So yeah...basically...i caved...and is now officially in no-buy-mode. Well...at least until HK. Haha. I'm eye-ing the 2 pigments from HK. What can I say, I'm a p/g and e/s junkie.

I caved in.. I only wanted to buy the brushes, but after spot reading this thread i ended up spending $250!!

I got All the MSF's My favorite would have to be redhead!! Also blonde MSF is amazing as well!! The rasberry vening in petticoat was just yuck on my skintone, and blonde msf is like petticoat without the veining

I got 100 strokes [gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!! purple], flip, femme fi, pincurl, and top knot. As for the lips i picked up blow dyr and soft wave. And the 165 and 226 brush xD

I think it was the MSF's that murdered my wallet... I really want to get more lip products but i need to practice more self control >.<

I agree that after a while the shimmery pinks start to look alike, but I am a sucker for them and they are very work appropriate so I had to grab L&D. But definitely not because I needed it. I agree with everyone that Strawberry blonde and Red Devil are the most unique.

Out of your list, I would grab Henna (if you don't have Sumptuious Olive) because it is really a gorgeous color.. and What a Do because it looked almost coral on my NC25 skin and from your pic I bet it would be so pretty on you.

You should definitely swatch them again in store to decide.

I still can't catch up with the posts because I can't access Specktra for a few days and now it is still loading very slowly with lots of X for pics.

I think I'm going to get the smudge brush and blonde MSF, and maybe the redhead MSF and Strawberry Blond l/g. I suspect that I grew weary and strike out more items after repeatedly trying to login to specktra to read about the collection and see swatches but was unable to do so.

Has anybody here gotten French Cuff to work with any sort of base? I actually think it is a *micrometer* less salmony/cooler pink than Expensive Pink, and would have bought it if the texture wasn't so bad.

Also is there anything similar to Fix+ in MAC or another brand without the castor oil? I can't use anything with castor oil due to my rosacea. TIA!

I always miss it too but that's because im a 34A.

.. I used to be a 32C when I was pregnant. I dont know how that happened. Well, I do.. and I wish it would come back

Actually, I think I may be bigger than a 34A, but thats the size bra that I wear because it makes my boobs look huge. LOL

I know somebody at some point in this thread asked if there was anything similar to Chignon, so I swatched it next to the other plummy lipsticks I have. Chignon has more purple in it than the others (other than Bing):

From top to bottom:
