I use DuWop Payoff shadow intensifer. The ingredients are as follows:
Water, Propylene Glycol, Isododecane, Polysorbate 80, Cyclopentasiloxane, Methylparaben, Cyclohexasiloxane, Propylparaben, Cellulose Gum.

I like it much better than Fix + for applying shadows wet.

Would the water-based MAC mixing medium help?

I've totally been lurking in this thread, reading most of it... I totally sprinted into my Macy's yesterday before work so I got my stuff and didn't have to run out again today, and just went wild, buying almost all the eyeshadows. I'd totally talked myself out of the lipsticks and glosses, but after reading this thread, I'm really sad that I didn't get them. But there's about a foot of snow outside that we got last night... And it's driving me nuts!

And it's funny because the lip stuff is usually the thing I forgo or forget, though I love them.

I'm really thinking I might end up going back today and getting a couple more l/g, maybe another 226, and well, unnecessarily blowing a bunch of my moolah. And maybe Flip e/s, since it is quite pretty.

I STILL can't decide what I want from this collection even though I have NO money.

I now think I will get Marquis'd l/s, redhead MSF and then ??? eyshadows!

Originally I wanted Henna and Deep Shade, now I only want Flip but I don't know if I even want that!

So, I've been lurking this morning . . . looking for the scoop on the BBR stuff and this thread is like a train wreck - I just can't stop reading it! But seriously girls - I can't read all 178 pages. I've found a couple of good "summary" posts detailing the potential dupes in this collection, but does anyone have any pointers for a late arriver?

If you can see it for yourself, that is probably the best pointer, b/c it looks so different in person. I was not impressed w/ any of the lipsticks/glass til I saw it. If you can't see it in person, maybe check the swatches for ideas? Just don't look at mac's swatches as they look nothing like the real product.

Also you don't need to go through the entire forum, you can just check out the last few pages, and that's where everyone's "reviews" of the collection.

There's so much to go through lol. I know someone that knows bettcome along soon, but here's what I remember...

French Cuff is so similar to Mythology
Henna is maybe a tad more golden than Sumptuous Olive. I also saw a swatch of Henna next to Warm Suede and they looked quite similar.
The 226 brush is must have.
The Redhead MSF seems to be a favorite amongst the people.

I unfortunately cannot be the voice of reason here. I really ended up loving this collection even more than I anticipated. However, since you do have the option of waiting it out for products ending up in the CCO's, I guess it really depends on how badly you want the remaining items. I don't know what the likelihood is with products ending up at CCO's, since we don't have them, but I do feel that this collection is more universal than the brighter collections, therefore may sell better. Having said that though, it also depends on how much the economy is going to effect consumer spending, since make-up isn't exactly a necessity.
