That's awesome! Hey, every little bit helps. It really makes the msf more reasonable - especially if you buy more than one

Good for you.

Red Devil is gorgeous, but I definitely think it will look better on me in the summer when my name isn't Casper.

It wasn't. But if you're looking for the 214, you may want to call ahead and have them put it on hold if they have it. It sounds to me that the Bay stores didn't receive too many of them. But the f/s store should have it.

Deep Shade looks really nice, but maybe a little hard to work with. Compared to Contrast, it's a touch (literally) lighter and with a bit less black to it.

Thanks Momma Spy! I haven't been this excited about a collection in a while (although I thought I would be with Chill, but didn't end up liking that too much), and gc's definitely help! I think I may also B2M for All's Fair!

I'm DEFINITELY going to go in tomorrow and get a backup of Strawberry Blonde LG. It's honestly the perfect berry lip for me.. Not to strong, not to soft, just fabulous. Is anyone else loving this as much as I am?

I feel the exact same way! I am in love with Strawberry Blonde. I don't have anything like it.

Just got back from my MAC counter and what everyone said was right, you need to see the collection in person. For me the standouts were Blonde and Redhead msfs and Red Devil and Strawberry Blonde lipglasses. I'm an NW20ish light olive for reference.

Msfs: I was afraid that the msfs would look too frosty after reading reviews on MUA, but they were nicely pigmented with no chunky glitter to have to deal with. If you're an msf virgin, these are a really good group of msfs to start with. Nicely pigmented, smooth finish and a subtle glow as opposed to the nuclear fallout of some previously released msfs. They do vary in how large the stripes are, so I picked a Blonde with a larger percentage of the msf being made up of a darker shaded pink stripes than pale pink stripes, just for a slightly deeper pink blush when I apply it. On me it looked different than my Petticoat, but my Petticoat has really large Burgundy veins running through it, so that could be why. The Brunette msf was lovely too, but I already have a couple of dozen bronzers, so I passed on it. I've already ordered the Redhead msf, but that one is chalkful of lovely apricotty goodness.
Lipglasses:
Strawberry Blonde and Red Devil are gorgeous. I agree that Red Devil is nothing like Shine Manish. Red Devil has much less orange in it and much more wearable. The other lipglasses were nice, but I already have tons of neutrals and pinks, so I passed.

Lipsticks: I skipped these, as I already have a ton of neutrals and pinks.

Eye Shadows: The eye shadows weren't impressing me much, but mainly because they replicated shades that I already had for the most part. The only one I was interested in was Top Knot (purple eye shadow addict here). It looked gorgeous in the pan, but swatched it was chalky black - no pretty purple shimmer at all. I suppose you could fiddle with it using a base and all, but it just seemed like too much effort when MAC has released much better purples in the past. If you don't have a lot of MAC shadows, then the standouts are Femme Fi, Flip and Henna. They had smooth easy to blend textures and great color. The rest of the collection, not so much.

Oh and PSA: French Cuff sucks and I mean sucks. MAC should pay us for taking it off their hands. Its one of the worst eye shadows I think I have ever seen MAC release. Chunky doesn't even begin to describe it. Get Expensive Pink instead, if you really want a lovely pink gold.

So I got all of my goodies today and I am so pleased! I got Henna, Flip, 100 Strokes, and Top Knot and I love all of them. Top Knot is really pretty and works really well with a base. I accidentally bought Knight too, even though I already have it in a palette, so I will take that one back. I was really pleased with the shadows I got though

I got Red Devil, Live and Dye, and Strawberry Blonde lipglasses and they are all really pretty. I dont have anything similar to them so yay!

I also B2M'd for Chignon, Blow Dry, What A Do, and All's Fair. Blow Dry is gorgeous! It is seriously like my lips but better. Chignon worried me b/c I'm so pale (NC15) but it honestly looks great as long as I dont put a ton on. What A Do and All's Fair are also really pretty. I also got a Grenadine s/s and Sandy B l/s and honestly Grenadine was my favorite out of all of them, lol. Not even part of the collection but I'm so glad I purchased it.

I also got Blonde and Redhead. Let me just tell you how much I adore them both. Gorgeous, definitely are the stars of the collection. Blonde is perfect for me b/c I can use the darker stripes for blush, love it

Thank you all so much for your help, swatches (esp Tish for doing some swatches on white paper. Helping her pastey sisters out, lol), and input.

I got the 226 and Blonde MSF. I am an MSF lover but Blonde to me looked like something I didn't have the rest all looked pretty close to other MSF's I own so I skipped them.

I broke down and went back to MAC today and got the Blond MSF, Flip, Red Devil and Live and Dye...sigh...I probably won't be buying anything (not even toilet paper) for a longggg time. I think Red Devil is really pretty, but the problem is it brought out my red skin today (I have red cheeks and around my nose too it's weird), so if you have any redness maybe this isn't the best color.

I picked this up today. It's a cool but pretty pink...on my coloring I'm considering trying it with Frozen Dream.

I went this morning and only picked up Henna out of the eyeshadows..was going to get 100 Strokes but two e/s I already own seemed similar. Picked up B-Babe (thought it might be 80's pink in the store but my new MA said it was "feminine".) as well as Quick Tease, Strawberry Blonde and the 226. Strawberry Blonde on my hand seemed a reddish pink, but it's a lighter raspberry. If I win the lottery, may go back and get Live and Dye. Soft Wave had the color I wanted but to much frost for my liking.

I cant wait until I get my stuff in the mail! I might go to MAC tomorrow, if I can make it, and B2M...my choices are now what a do, alls fair, henna, and soft wave (if it isnt too much like major minor) and maaaaaybe live and dye, if its not just a light pink.

But Im thinking Ill leave with what a do, alls fair and henna.

I did a simple eye look with Flip, French Cuff and 100 Strokes today. It was kind of a lazy day for me, but it looked really nice. These three shadows are so beautiful all blended together, they remind me of a sunset! I thought the color payoff of French Cuff and 100 Stokes was excellent, and Flip was fairly good too, although not quite as pigmented as I had hoped. I felt like I had to layer it on a lot, even with UDPP as a base. I'm probably about NW20 right now for reference.

I am SO relieved to read this - as I don't like glitter or high frost on my face.

So I was just playing with my Top Knot and ladies you shouldnt give up on this color. I put it on top of Delft and Artifact and it is gorgeous!! On top of Delft it turns into a blackened blue-green, it is gorgeous. Then on top of Artifact it turns into the perfect blackened plum. I seriously love this color. They are both gorgeous!! I'm so glad I bought it

I'm glad somebody got a nice French Cuff because I hate mine. It is terrible. I'll return it tomorrow.

^Honestly I kind of thought I would hate it. But it swatched really nicely in the store, and when I put in on today I wasn't feeling it, but as soon as I put 100 Strokes with it, I LOVED it! I'm sorry yours stinks
