HAahhaha...It may not seem like it, but really what I'm REALLY doing is testing people's willpower...to FIGHT the temptation to purchase the must have lippie!! Lol...I've been able to fight the "red devil temptation" ...I want it..Everyone raves about it...BBuuuuutt I haven't got it ....

EDIT: Also, in Halifax? Hitting around -20 before wind chill this week. That is FRIGID for us! We're right on the bloody ocean! The high humidity levels make it much worse, too. Uggghhhh... This is not normal weather for here!

Yup I think it was you that gave me the idea yesterday!!! So when I went to go try my BBR for the first time this morning..I decided on that lippie combo!

I got a package from Nordies yesterday...
I love everything!!
I couldn't stop staring at Blow Dry l/s... it's gorgeous in the tube. I have very pigmented lips, but it showed up just fine. Just as pretty on my lips as in the tube. I think I need a backup of this l/s.
Marquise D'- super pretty nude peachy color.
I also got All's Fair, What a Do, and B-Babe. They all look so pretty but I didn't really have time to try them on my lips yet. They are really pretty when swatched. I don't really love very frosty lipsticks, so I'm nervous about B-Babe and What a Do... but they'll probably be fine.
I got all of the lipglasses. I'm so bad. They forgot to include Live and Dye in my order (it's the one thing I wanted most..) so I ordered it from MAC right away. Can't wait to get it.
Quick Tease is very close to jampacked, but a little lighter.. so I guess I should've passed on it.
Soft Wave is pretty.. a tad bit frosty, but I like it. Nothing special though.
Strawberry Blonde- gorgeous... i think i'm enrolled in elegant's enabler school though, because I might want a back up of this. I'm undecided on the backup though, I want one of Blow Dry so I don't want to many backups. Live and Dye might be backup worthy.
Red Devil- Very pretty. I have Lychee Luxe, I'm not really sure how they compare at the moment. Glad I got it. Awesome with Blow Dry like others have said.
For shadows I bought Henna, Flip, Knight, Pin Curl, 100 Strokes, and Top Knot. IMO Top Knot is a waste it shows up as black mess on me. 100 Strokes, Pincurl, and Knight are gorgeous. Overall, crappy textures for the shadows. Knight and Henna are okay, but mine seem kinda rough for vp's.
The msf's are pure love. Redhead is stunning, Brunette totally works for me and I have very light beige skin. I was afraid I wouldn't like it, but I LOVE it. Blonde is such a pretty pink cheek color for me without the loads of shimmer that petticoat has. i would seriously get rid of 90% of my msf collection (have them all except for metal rock and pleasureflush) for backups of these babies.
The brushes are amazing. I love each and every one of them. I bought 2 #226.. I wish MAC would make this brush permanent. The 165 is perfection too... it works great withe the msf's. I was so pleased with the 214 brush. I almost didn't order it because a few people said it was comparable to Sephora's smudge brush... which I have. I bought it anyway, and imo, they aren't even close to being dupes. MAC's is a hundred times better. I've tried other smudge brushes too.. this one is the best. I'm glad this will be permanent.
The standouts in this collection were the lippies, msf's and brushes. I'm in love with everything I bought. I'm so happy/lucky to have received the 25% discount for this. I'm excited to try Live and Dye. Oh, I'm also STILL waiting for my package from the friends and family sale. This is over a week now. I never waited so long for a package.

Ya... i fought the temptation for a while and just assumed it would like bad on. But I happened to pass a MAC counter today (not hard to do in Toronto), and there it was quietly urging me to try it on. So I did and I got it! I hold myself accountable for everything else I got from this collection, but as for Red Devil, I hold many of you accountable!

I'm contemplating getting back-ups of Henna and What a Do!, but mostly Henna. My advice would be to only ever get one back-up of anything, because it is very likely MAC will come out with something similar or release it again down the road. Unless you are one of those rare individuals that only own two shades of lipgloss and constantly use only those two shades!

Oh, my Deep Shade just came. I cannot understand why its not getting a lot of love - its pretty. Its lighter than Contrast which is a blackened blue, but DS is this soft pretty dusty blue with violet/indigo tones. I love it.
