I took a look at CC at my MAC counter at Nordies and thought I would get more of the collection.

I was NOT impressed with any of the MES. They were a glittery hot mess! Not to mention, the MA's were using them so much that the colors were starting to blend together in the palette making them look muddy. Not attractive at all!

Lippies: I only got Madly Creative. I B2M for this. It was the only lippie that stood out for me. Very flattering color on my pigmented lips and tanned NC42 skin color! Pair this baby with a dazzleglass over it, and it is such a pretty pink nudie lip color!

Lipglasses: The only thing that peeved me was that these cost more than regular lipglasses! But these live up to their hotness! I got Nice Mix Up- which is a pretty orange coral color! I also got Eclectic Edge- love anything purple right now; so this is MUST for me. Looks fab over Fashion Mews and Purple Rite lippies! The other lipglasses were very pretty but I felt dupeable. I only bought the 2 colors that stood out for me. Colors are very bright, especially when using a lip brush!

MSFs: I got Smooth Merge- picked out the one with the larger middle raspberry stripe! This went on so smooth, I gasped when I swatched it! It is a little bit frosty; but when you buff it out, the frostiness goes away. I also picked up Cheeky Bronze- this is so pretty! I'm really into bronzey corals right now and this is so pretty! Another must have. Porcelain Pink was too chalky and color payoff on my NC42 skin looked horrible! Sunny by Nature was ok, nothing too special about it. I'd say get it if you are a MSF collector, but it's nothing special and I didn't see any pink pearl to it at all; I have tons of bronzers already so I didn't get this. Triple Fusion was a disappointment. Color payoff on this was poor as well. Warm Blend was really pretty! But I already have MSFs in Warmed and Gold Deposit. I don't use these as much; so I didn't think I would use Warm Blend that much either. But if I didn't have the other 2 MSFs, I would have picked up Warm Blend!

MBs: I picked up Fad-dabulous. It is such a pretty color and goes extremely well with Cheeky Bronze MSF. People have mentioned seeing sheen with these. But I see some glitter, especially trying to wipe this off my arm when I swatched it. But buffing it out, it is quite pretty and neutral looking! The other colors were ok. I'm not a huge fan of MB's b/c I prefer Beauty powder blushes as I think MBs are not as long lasting. But the colors of all of the MBs are very beautiful. Only way to decide if you like one color over another is to see them all in person and swatch them yourself!

I already have the #226 and #109 brush. So I bought the #131 brush. I haven't used it yet but I'm looking forward to seeing if this will live up to the hype of its cost!

That's my review! Definitely a collection that has something for everyone! This is something you have to see in person. I think it would be hard to decide what to get if you didn't get the swatch these in real life!

I am still kind of lemming Daft Pink, but I just got my hair highlighted in blonde and reddish tones, and I inherited from my mother freckles and "red-haired skin colouring" - so maybe a really pink blush won't suit me anymore?

i completely agree with you! i used cheeky bronze for contouring my cheeks and faddabulous over that! it's a real gorgeous look. love it.

I am truly a little disappointed with this collection. I just started with MAC, so before I go buying stuff I asked a MAC fan friend of mine to go with me.

I tested all the MSF and blushes, and the trio MSF showed up huge chunky glitters and is very gritty! Triple Fusion showed up only a huge amount of chunky glitters and only a slight hint of colour! The others were fine, but still not as buttery smooth as the BBR's MSF.

Blushes wise I'd say a few colours were similar to the Grand Duos, with my MA telling me that the few colours I reserved from CC is similar to one another =_=

Anyway, I swatched Style Demon and it does look very much like Intenso, with Intenso having more golden shimmers

GDs are pretty much sparkly anyway.

Improvise and Cheeky Bronze are quite similar on my hand, with both being peach based. However, Cheeky Bronze does look a bit dirty on me (as commented by my friend) so I skip that, but I may just pick it up just cuz it's an MSF! LOL.

Fadabulous is a lovely colour, coral reddish shade but much lighter than Style Demon.

So I only picked up Fadabulous and Improvise, tho I may go back for Cheeky Bronze. Tee hee.

Btw, I am an NC25-35, and Improvise showed up on me a pretty peachy coral

Haven't tried Fadabulous though.

I saw the blushes today. While I wasn't impressed with Daft Pink, I found Hand finish gorgeous. They do have small glitters, though not as glittery as those from Grand Duos. Fab-dabulous and Improvise are pretty too.

I played with Porcelain Pink again and I like the colour but it feels a little bit chalky so I have an excuse to pass. I'm waiting for the Fall collections now and also hope Euristocrats will come here.

I am excited for the Makeup Art Cosmetics collection blushes (especially The Perfect Cheek)! I love the "normal" MAC blushes, they are one of my staples. And the Beauty Powder Blushes as well.

All of a sudden I got so excited for this collection. I am going to run over to MACPro today I think.

I am looking into:
- Girlish Romp E/S
- Color Crafted LipStick
- Daft Pink Blush
- Hand Finish Blush
- Smooth Merge MSF
- Porcelain Pink MSF- depending on chunkiness
- Sunny by Nature- MSF
- Cheeky Bronze MSF- again depending on Chunkiness

I dont think I need the brush 131 but I will check it out!
How are you all liking this collection so far?

For some reason I am lemming Odd Bits MES. I am skipping this collection, but I am really keen on that MES. I really don't need it, so will resist. I think.

I'm stoked that you like your photos. They were fun to work with. There's still a few more I'm working on that are pretty spectacular! Your original photos were perfect to work with. One day you need to consider letting a photographer get a hold of you, or at the very least get some headshots done.

A few of those photos look very representative of a MAC collection...don't know which one though. I also wanted them to look very classic and sleek and "European".

Me likey your new avatar!

You're the best toots! I have been aching to get some professional photos done.

If you want I will take some of those pictures that you're not finished with of your hands when you're done!
