How are you making out with your saving for this collection? I was thinking, since school is out now, if you did well, might you be able to ask your parents to help as a reward for your good grades? My sister is 16, and it works for her

I am really wanting Beautiful Iris! I had read that the color payoff wasn't too good though... what do you think?

well I've had some money saved up (only like 10 dollars though...) and somehow I just keep finding money. I know it won't always be this easy! And yes I did very well in school so I try to drag that excuse as far as it will travel!!

I don't have enough empties as I just recently got into mac maybe a few months ago. I have like..two clear brow gel containers that are near empty though!

Audrey - I apply it with either 239 or 217 and I put 2 layers (over a primer or over a Crystal Avalanche e/s which is white) on and it looks awesome, I love it, looks like the colour in the pot.

I saw Cool Heat yesterday. What can I say... I loved all of the eyeshadows... I don't know, reading all the posts now, I'm thinking, maybe I was overexcited

I put all other eyeshadows on hold till friday, when I have make-up application. I'll think about them more...

Slimshines are REALLY BRIGHT! Especially High 90's, I can't see myself wearing it. But I liked Tropical Glow ang Gentle Shimmer (very subtle one).

Seriously though, it is is a bit less of an "icy" mint than Aquavert. It has obvious gold sparkles, and though both are VPs I think Warm Chill has a better texture. I have Aquavert and prefer Warm Chill (already and I just swatched it on my hand!)

At first I just KNEW I wanted "Warming Trend," since I love taupes, but now I'm thinking it might be a little too gold/warm for me.
AND I remembered that I already own Stila "Cloud," which is a light-to-medium cool taupe that works wonderfully on my NW15 skin and jade green eyes.
It's a sad day when a person has so many eyeshadows that she forgets about some of them! Pass me a Kleenex.

So, unless something happens to change my mind, I've pared what was once an imposing "Cool Heat" wishlist to two items, Solar White eyeshadow and Swelter Slimshine.
I'm not even 100% sure about Swelter, since I already have Ladybug. Can anyone compare those two?

Solar White: Looks pinkish whitish in the pot but when swatched on my hand it is a GORGEOUS gold color. I got two, LOL.

VERY pretty. Its like a mid-light green with a gold finish. Absolutely beautiful. But I swiped it once over my skin and it kinda blended into my skintone. I think its because of the gold. But I will get this color when its available.

Warming Trend: Very pretty. Its like a khaki-color with a veluxe pearl finish. Very nice for a neutral look. I purchased it.

Blue Flame: In my opinion, color wise...........this is better than Deep Truth. The color is so much richer and I had no problems in terms of texture. It was so pretty that after I swiped it on my hand, I stared at it for a couple of minutes.

Cool Heat: In my honest opinion, if you have Big T, skip Cool Heat. The color looked pretty identical in the pot and swatched on my hand. I. DO. NOT. LIKE. THE. TEXTURE!!!!! To me its same texture as the Big T. SO I passed.

Climate Blue: VERY SURPRISING!!! Its a pretty purplish blueish color with pink sparkles as someone stated. When swatched on my hand, its still the same color AND I still saw the sparkles. Its less than in the pot but I can still see it on my hand.

Gulf Stream: Beautiful color. It kinda looks like something that MAC came out with previously, but that didn't stop me from getting it. It has a nice color payoff and the texture is nice.

I havent tried on the High 90's and the Swelter on my lips but I say GET THEM!!! GORGEOUS!!!! They have the most color payoff and they are beautiful. The others didn't really show up on my hand. Especially the light pinkish one, I forgot the name.

Thats my review! Hope that helped somewhat.

I used Warm Chill with Blue Flame as a liner smudged a bit and it looks beautiful together!

I think that I have redone my Cool Heat list over 20 times! I seriously am trying to talk myself out of getting everything! Thanks everyone for the great reviews. Is it next week yet!?! I can't wait to offically get my hands on these suckers!

I keep telling myself that I can get through this with only two shadows and Turquatic Heat (provided I enjoy the fragrance enough to merit the money, of course, but I suspect I will). Must limit spending... need to learn to buy food before makeup...

i love love love this collection!! i can't wait for it to come out. Im getting all the shadows except for warming trend and climate blue. Im still thinking over whether i need solar white or not and if i want warming trend or not. I kind of like one of the slimshines...high 90s i think is the name because it seems like a light sheer color but i'll have to see in person. im not really one for very colorful lips.

^^That is one thing I love about slimshines. Even though they look bright in the tube you can sheer them out with a light application or pile it on for a brighter/bolder color. I seriously love slimshines!
