What base are you using? I use Beiging, or however it is spelled. I also use Too Faced Shadow Insurance under the shadestick or Lumene's primer, then the shadestick.

I sometimes use Silverbleu shadestick, but the glitter hurts my eyelids.

I haven't tried it with a paintpot yet.

Well, girls... I bought all of the eyeshadows today, except for Climate Blue. It looks very pretty in a pot, but on skin - not so much, no purple sparkles at all
ssad.gif
And I hate the texture...

About others:

- Warming Trend is a nice color, it's very very netural. Not bright at all, but it will go nicely with Warm Chill.

- Warm Chill is NOT simmular to Mood Ring (I bring the pallet with me to compare), it's more worm and has a gold sparkles in it.

- Blue Flame is REALLY nice, metallic, rich and smooth. I loved texture. In a store I swatched it next to Deep Truth and I liked Blue Flame much better!

- Gulf Stream is bright and clean, beautiful color! Just amazing! My fav from the bunch
smiles.gif

- Cool Heat is really bright one, very hot.

Slimshines. I bought only Tropical Glow because it's very pretty shimmery pink. For AudreyNicole: Pucker is more sheer then this one and doesn't have so much color,, and no shimmer... Gentle Shimmer was nearly invisible on me and others - way to bright.

And I liked old parfume over new one (not much difference thougt).

Is anyone else picking up Greenstroke PP to go along with all these shadows? I think I will I just hope it has more color payoff like Rollickin', rather than like Rubenesque which is rather sheer on me.

I have PP Greenstroke and love wearing it with Aquadisiac and Steamy. It will be awseome with Cool Heat!

So I found out that my local Nordies had the last two of these VAE in a 50 mile radius so I raced out and got them tonight. Of course came home to try it out and you are SOOOOO right. This stuff is amazing. My skin hasn't felt this good in..... forever!!! Any chance they are going to make this permanent? They really need to. I am thinking of ordering two more just in case...will this go bad you think?

Erine I have a quick question, its wayyyyyyy off topic.

My room is super duper hot and muggy (gross I know)...and all my makeup is in there. Its only been hot in my room for like a week, a week and a half? I don't have to worry about my makeup going bad, do i? I know it sound ssilly but I really dont want to keep them in that environment...Im gonna move them I just want to make sure they are still okay

my room gets that way too. i'm on the second floor, so all the heat rises to my room while its an icebox downstairs. do make sure you have some circulating air during super hot days, whether its a fan or airconditioning. as long as it doesn't get extremely humid and your makeup isn't in the sun, you should be ok. also, make sure its stored in drawers that don't have clear sides on all sides. this minimizes the amount of light that gets in. some cream items (like CCB) might sweat a little more, but sweating is normal if stored in any location. i would store any backstock in your hall linen closet, since it remains a constant temperature. that way it won't go bad before you even open it. that's where all my extra skincare is stored. for my actual makeup backups, i keep em stored in those photo storage boxes. the lid is closed and all items are kept in their boxes. this keeps it out of all forms of light.

whatever you do- DO NOT KEEP YOUR MAKEUP IN YOUR BATHROOM!!!

because of all the heat and humity. the temperature fluxuates so much in the bathroom because of the shower, or if you use hot water in the sink. and even when you don't have either running, there is so much condensation in the air that it affects the makeup. it can melt, mold, change texture/color, spoil, etc. due to these conditions.

this is why you want to store your makeup in a cool, dry place out of the sun.

Im not buying online though, Im going in on Thursday and bringing my blue aqua teal e/s palette to compare colors to what I already own.

Haha I am going to do that as well. I took my neutral/brown palette with me for Neo Sci Fi and all the MAs at the Macys counter were hovering over it
lol.gif
BUt I am so glad I did b/c the only shadow I picked up was Time & Space. I do think that the other shadows were unique and nothing we have in the perm line but I don't wear neutrals often anyway. I can't wait for Thursday! aaaaaaaaaa

Re: Cool Heat Discussion

I had a panic attack and I pre-ordered what i wanted from this collection out of fear of not getting what i wanted. lol.
I pre-ordered:
Gulf Stream (YAY!!)
Warm Chill
Solar White
Cool Heat
High 90's Slimshine

I may add Blue Flame if i feel like i really need it and i might change the slimshine im getting but for now i feel like that's the right one. I've got NC30 skin. What do you all recommend?? Im in my avvie as well if that helps.
