Okay I know this is gonna sound CRAZY but...I'm not feeling this collection at all! (I know I know, shame) Although I'm going MAC tomorrow to use my friends and family coupon, so I'll test some stuff and I'll let ya'll know if I decide to get anything, but so far I just haven't gotten excited!

The only things I was interested in were Solar White and Warming Trend...and I emailed the Ask an Artist and she said Solar White is really similar to White Gold PRO p/g, which I'm already getting, and then I just can't justify Warming Trend because I have so many other neutrals like it!

I'm just not feelin' the greens and blues-I have a bunch of green, blue, and teal shadows and p/g and I never use them, so I'd rather just buy some shadows for my palettes, to be honest! And I'm not into Slimshines...so yeah. More money for my bank, I guess

AHHHH!! i can't waiiiit!! i pre-ordered my things and the MA called me and said it's ready to pick up. YAY!!!

i love love love your swatches of gentle simmer and tropic glow ss Audrey!!! im sold on them both so i only hope that they will look as gorgeous on me as they do on you!! i only pre-ordered High 90's ss but now i really want those other two as well. haha!!

I'm right there with you. Blues, teals, greens aren't my colors and I think they can be hard to wear....the only shadows I liked were solar white and warming trend and these are easily dupable w/colors I have.

Hi, yeah, the Cool Heat colors totally rock! I was going to get Gulf Stream, but being on a budget and everything, I was thinking Rollickin' with Surreal over it sort of looks like G/S. What do you think? I have Rollickin' and Surreal to try.

I had to go back today for another slimshine (Gentle Simmer)!!! somehow I of course ended up getting Greenstroke paint pot and Perky paint pot (from Fafi)... add that to the 7 eyeshadows and other slimshine and eeek!

Oddly enough, my local counter ended up having everything from the collection and was not even busy today!


The MA at the counter also had pics of the anniversary color forms collection that she showed me... pretty schnazy! (I cant believe I am already thinking about the next collection! Must.stop.buying.makeup)

My package didn't show today and it says it's rescheduled for tomorrow. =( But on another note, thanks for all the new swatches everyone!! Loved all your comparisons Audrey! I'm going to do some as soon as they arrive tomorrow.

I'm also pretty set on trading in some B2Ms for Climate Blue now. I def think I can make it work over a nice blue or purple base so why not!! I feel my Cool Heat collection is incomplete without it. lol

LOL That is hilarious! We have some ESP thing going on between us now!

And yeah, I hate that! It definitely doesn't work for me on it's own like it seems to for everyone else but I'm willing to work for it! So let's hope! =)

OMG! I think you just convinced me to get Climate Blue! It's the only e/s in this collection that I didn't get.

i posted comparison swatches, and i don't think they look similar at all.

pompous blue is much darker, and as for moodring/gulf stream/warm chill, many others have already asked this. i posted swatches comparing them the other day.

EDIT: Ernie beat me too it! I knew that she must have done a swatch! Thanks again Ernie for always being on top of it!

Pompous Blue's description is a punched up aqua with silver sparkle and cool heat is describled as a frosty teal with multi-dimensional peralized pigments. This is taken from the color story pages.

In my opinion pompous blue is a dark teal whereas cool heat is a cooler turquoise. I think that they are two entirely different shadows. If Ernie has not done a swatch of those two yet she might do one for you to compare.

I really didn't think it was diffiicult to work with. And the color is really pretty in real life. Pictures really haven't done this color justice. I was so on the fence about getting it & I decided to buy it & I am so glad I did. I will use it more for pink/purple eyes than I will for teal/blue eyes

I dont think pompous blue and cool heat are even close in color...pompous is a deep blue where you see green-blue in cool heat.....as for mood ring and warm chill there is a slight difference warm chill shows gold..not enough for me to get both...also gulf stream is gorgeous but it looks almost indentical on me as waternympth....
