I'm NW15 and I use a brush similar to the 116. I swirl it around the ombre a few times to pick up a decent amount of color that I apply all up and down my cheekbone, and then I go back to pick up a little more for definition. It's sheer, similar to my sheertones, so it doesn't hop right onto the brush.

It looks like such an awesome colour and I love the ombre effect! I'm hoping vintage grape will still be about come pay day

Did you change to a more golden blonde? I'm sure it will look fabulous and Aurora is flattering across a wide range of skin tones. Have fun with it!

I actually had a lot of brown and caramel put through it so its very multi-tonal now so I need to add in a few more colours that a slightly warmer. It's hard! I've been so cool colours for so long! Awwww that stinks!!!! I get some Christmas money this week from the DH and I also get a deposit that's all fun money....off to MAC I go on Thursday!

That STINKS!
However, wearing Nebula for the first time today convinced me that while buying it was the right call, a backup will not be necessary.
If I use more than about a pinhead-sized amount on my NW15 skin, I'm in raccoon territory.
As it wears, though, it becomes lighter and greyer. I've had it on for about six hours now, and it looks like a soft, slightly shimmery grey.
At this rate, it will take me a very long time to use up even one of the newsmaller jars.

Aww lou! I share your pain, I too wasn't paid from a new job this month as my manager didn't send my new starter form in on time! It sucks big time and I hope your work rectify it quickly..is there anyway you could borrow some pennies? It would only be for a few days.

I keep going back and forth with that one! I love dark wine, berry, and purple lipsticks, but not with brown in them. How brown toned is Approaching Storm?

I was considering it too, but I swatched it today and it was a bit too brown-toned for me. I really don't need anymore dark lipsticks anyway, to be honest!

I didn't know this! Does that mean I have to watch how often I use it??? NOOOOOO!!! I definitely feel like they wear infinitely better than normal lipglass and loved that it didn't feel sticky! I hope it comes back!

It's not that bad, but they empty faster than a lipglass, especially since they have a nicer texture. You should be good with your backup though.

I went back and got my BU of Narcissus today. They only had one more left but I didn't pick it up. instead I picked up....drum roll please...AURORA. My first pigment. Once it was on my eyes I saw that it was mm...Special

...Couldn't resist. Happy with my Haul so far. Thanks enablers!

Narcissus was gone when I went to my local store yesterday - the MUA said it sold out the first day. I was surprised, this is in northern VT, in a college town and all the students are gone for Christmas. I didn't expect the year round residents to be so into purple lip gloss LOL.

I finally checked out the collection. I got:

• Aurora pigment
• Nebula pigment
• Narcissus lip gloss

I didn't even try Nebula. It wasn't in the display. As I was checking out, I asked the SA about it and he brought it out with the rest of my things. I was so worn out I just looked at it and decided to get it. I haven't really been able to resist any pigments lately anyway. I just hope it isn't too close to Tea Time which is one of the brown pigments I already have. The pro store was out of Narcissus so I had to go to the regular store to get it. I know I sound like a lazy shopper but in my defense, I was shopping at least 4 collections at one time (without a list) so it was hard to keep everything straight. The quad looked very nice. I may revisit it at another time.

If anyone is interested, Nebula looks nothing like Tea Time Pigment. Tea Time has much more yellow in it. It looks like a warm brown with gold shimmer in it. How is it that I never noticed the gold shimmer? I remembered it as almost matte like in finish. Maybe it is because the gold shimmers kind of sit on the top, kind of like the shimmers in Sparkle Neely Sparkle. I prefer shimmer throughout than ones that sit on top. Anyway, when I swiped some of Nebula from the bits on top of the cap, it looked very grey on my finger but as I swatched it on my hand it was definitely brown. . . a deep dark brown with grey undertones. But definitely brown. This is good for me.


Oh and I have Bloodline too. I just took it out and just by looking at the two bottles side by side they look identical. But swatched, Bloodline has a definite plum tone to it. Now that I have swatched more Nebula on to my hand it looks more grey than it did before but I don't think I would actually wear that much on my eye anyway. HTH!

AB was like that for me when I first bought it back with the Spring Colour collection. I think it definitely gets better with time. Now, I love it.
