I feel Petals and Peacocks could be blue-r. I swear I'm going to put P&P on and then add a layer of Blast-O-Blue, take a picture and mail it to MAC. They seem to missing the picture.

When I layer those colors I get an electric violet-blue color.

I love my goodies!

I went in for a makeover this afternoon before heading to work. I bought everything on my original list:
Prim & Proper blush
Birds & Berries e/s
Shell Pearl b/p
A Different Groove l/g

But wait! Oh look what also fell into my bag:
Blooming Lovely l/s
English Accents l/g

I hadn't thought my NC25 self could wear that combo, but my MA used it during the makeover and

it looked so pretty! (See my profile pic for what it looks like!) I love how MAC is getting me to explore colors I wouldn't have considered on my own!

my daughter in law & I were just talking about how crazy sandals have gotten! They're no longer just a sandal. They have 2038759765 straps, buckles, ties, crochet, cuffs, grommets, widgets of any kind - its completely off the hook. Just look at them at Nordies They've become works of art more than a sandal.

I just saw the collection in person and as I thought wasn't really impressed. The only thing I might have bought was the Birds & Berries but I already have a few mineral e/s that are pretty close to it. The packaging is pretty though

OK, ladies.
I got my goodies today. I am happy w/ everything I bought.

ALL lipsticks - I was not sure about Ever Hip and P&P yesterday, but OMG, they are just too pretty to ignore. When I came home, I applied all of them (except Peachstock cause it's already my fave anyway) - I LOVE them all! I was afraid EH would be too orange-y, P&P is too hot pinky, BL would be too grayish- but ALL of them look nice on my lips

Frankly Fresh - I haven't tried this one yet, but I am sure it's OK.

Prim & Proper - I am NC20-25 (NC30 in summer) but I don't have olive in my skin, so it looks fine. I gasped when I first saw this in person because it looked so dark! I swatched it on my hand, and it looked kinda peach-y, not too brown or muddy. It looks nicer when you apply Shell Pearl on top.

Shell Pearl - I was also shocked to see this one is darker than I thought. when I applied on top of P&P, I was in love. Thank you again, Sofia, I love P&P and SP combo.

Oh, and, I was shocked to learn that my counter(free-standing store) is no longer accepting B2M for new collections.

I was like since when??? I thought my counter was cool about B2M, but no more(I'm glad I didn't have depotted eye shadows in my B2Ms - that would be no-no as well) I had 18 used goodies, so I had to choose 3 permanent products. I was not ready for that

I picked up my new GMLOL stuff today and I love EVERYTHING that I got!!

I ended up with:
Summer Rose BP
GMLOL eye shadow
Birds & Berries eye shadow
Dame's Desire eye shadow
Bough Grey eye shadow
Petals & Peacocks lipstick
Blooming Lovely lipstick
English Accents lipglass
Blue India NP

I really wanted to love prim & proper blush but it didn't look very good on me for some reason. (I am NW15) I also found that ever hip didn't really do much for me either which was a disappointment because I really wanted it to work on me. I sort of regret not getting shell pearl BP but I have so many MSFs that I could create the same sort of color with those. Summer Rose was more unique IMO.

I haven't gotten to play with everything yet but I can't wait to do a look with the products tomorrow.

I am just so happy to finally have this stuff in my hands! I feel like I have waited forever. I love the packaging!!

Katie, I am anxious to see how you like GMLOL. I passed on it because I was having a hard time with getting it to show up. I am wondering how it will apply with a brush.
