There are so many negative reviews that I thought there was no hope. I can't wait to see this in person!!! Bough Grey, PLEASE don't disappoint me

Bough Grey was easy to work with surprisingly if you wanted more good news about it

I have to wait for my Prim & Proper blush to come next week! I want to try it out so bad after on the good reviews and how so many people seem to like it! I'm not crazy about the packaging though.

Ya know, at first, I HATED the packaging. I am almost embarassed to say that it has grown on me so much that it now tops my list for my favorite special packaging

I will let you know. To be honest it was kind of an impulse purchase so I am hoping it will work.

I was totally expecting to pass on Bough Grey but when I swatched it felt buttery smooth and was pigmented. I can't wait to wear it. It is going to look great with a ton of colors!

I will offer up another good review for Bough Grey. I didn't have any problem with the color. It definately shows up on me, with minimal effort. I really love it, and it's definately a unique color in my collection

I read in some magazine, forgot which one or if it was in March or April edition that Bough Grey is the color to get for Spring especially for brown eyes bc it will make your brown peepers pop and bring out the green in them!

I think Bough Grey is calling my name! But is it similar to anything in the perm line or close to it?

I am wondering this as well. My MA used Bough Grey on me today with Birds & Berries. I passed it because the early talk about it wasn't good, but I admit it looks great on me.... Is this worth picking up?

Scene and Urban Decay's Gunmetal are the only two grays I have. But yeah, should I opt for something else in the perm line or just go with Bough Grey?

Nothing in perm that is similar. Or nothing that I can think of.
More of a reason to get it?
graucho.gif

But honestly, you should try it on your skintone, it might look ashy for darker toned. Maybe?

I'm wondering if there are Batch issues? Some swatch good & some terrible. The one I swatched was terrible like others have said
th_dunno.gif
Maybe the consistency changes with the batch - is that possible?

I'm so sad that Blooming Lovely l/s is sold out on the website!!!! So I ordered Petals & Peacocks l/s instead along with Prim & Proper Blush and Birds & Berries e/s. I'm still thinking about skipping Bough Grey e/s since I have Soot e/s even though they are not similar. Decisions, decisions....

I just love this collection. Here's my haul:

Shell Pearl b/p
Prim & Proper blush
Birds & Berries e/s
Bough Grey e/s
Blue India n/p
Ever Hip l/s
Bubbles l/s

I wasn't sure about Ever Hip l/s when I swatched it on my hand so I asked for it to be cleaned and tried it on. I really like it, so much better on my lips. It was too orange on my hand. On my lips it's a lovely coral, not too bright. I remembered when I got home with my goodies that I totally forgot to check out Peachstock l/s. It looks like a great nude. A second trip just might be called for.

I think with Bough Grey it's all going to be in the method of application. Packing it into the brush and patting it on is going to yield really good results with pigmentation. Just swiping it across the shadow and swiping it onto the lid is going to get you that soft color. Either way, it blends really well.
