I KNOW! I was bitching at my bf telling him I wanted to go to IMATS I got into mac while I was a student in Winnipeg a few years ago, and the items don't sell as quickly as long as you go as soon as they are released so i love it here!

I'll be in van april 20 and onwards as i didnt purchase my return flight yet. do you have msn? lol i think i made a best friend

Out there, but i went to watch Shutter Island which was very weird. on my way out of the public washroom I realized my sweater dress was flipped upwards and my vajayjay was hanging out for everyone to see. thank god I at least wore tights.

This is so interesting!! I did change my mind about a $400 purse the other day, and opted for my little MAC haul instead. So maybe there's some truth to the lipstick indicator!

i have both and shell is more peachy pink ..more of a blush..darker. and by candlelight is more champagny.

Ok, for those of you who have played with Ever Hip and Fresh Salmon from SCF, I need your expertise.... if I find Fresh Salmon to be quite subtle on my pigmented lips, does that mean that Ever Hip will be invisible?

And on the topic of pigmented lips, how would any of you with same find the opacity of Frankly Fresh and PHS?

I did a DYI Blooming Lovely look yesterday (using Up the Amp and LW) and I was more convinced on my judgment to skip Blooming Lovely. Here it is:

Nop, amp creams are my fave finish from MAC. They apply smooth, pigmented and creamy....not drying on me at all. GAT and Blankety (both amp creams) were the two lipsticks that made me a MAC addict back in the day and I still love them both!

Wow! You guys have been super excited and talkative about this one.LOL I had 16 pages to read to catch up.

So I went for my makeover on Wednesday and my list changed a bit. Here is what I finally ended up getting:

Birds and Berries
Prim and Proper
Shell Pearl
Summer Rose
Ever Hip
Blooming Lovely

I was going to pass on the lippies entirely but I fell in love with these two as soon as I saw/swatched them. I had A Different Groove on my original list but decided against it after trying it on. It is too brown for me. I just can't rock it as well as Shontay does (and Shontay you look hot in that gloss girl).

I also got Snob and Fashion Scoop. These were definitely surprise buys for me as I have said for years that I didn't think I could pull off a pale pink lip. My wonderful MUA friend Megan put these on me over Naked l/l and with a lilac smokey eye and it was a gorgeous look.
