I first tried it with no base(I was excited to get it & wanted to play asap) and it was kinda eh, but I wore it yesterday again & loved it. I used gracious me s/s as a base & it was all so gorgeous. I don't have beauty marked e/s but I'm assuming it would be similar to the eggplant color in the trio? I also ordered the Trio 1 yesterday...along with basically the whole collection, lol. I can't wait to get everything!

Thanks for the tip, I will have to get Gracious me. I liked that color too anyway. I wanted the eggplant color because its supposed to be dark -for a nice smokey eye

Wow...that's awesome for you! When I called MAC, she did ask me what time I placed my order, so that may be playing a part in who gets what when too.

haha!! i agree it is annoying when there's a color that you dont like or already have and they put it in a palette. I never try to compare because i know that something about the product will be different and it gives a different look in the end. I do agree though that they've been coming out with a lot of smiliar colors in the latest collections. FYI...I placed my order Early, it still wan't really ON the site, they were just adding the pictures & products cause I was stalking like a psycho, lol. It was probably around 8:15AM est when I ordered. But I'm sad cause the one thing I REALLY want(melrose mood) is what is still on backorder(that and alpha girl bp)

ahh less than 24 hours til heatherette
i think they will be good on products even tho i have to wait til after class since not many people (outside of specktra lol) know about the early release.
i checked out the products online last night & made a shopping list.. thanks to astronaut for posting her swatches--i am passing on style minx & will save $$$. (thank god, i am spending much less than i thought i would).
my list:
-lollipop loving, sock hop
-hollywood nights
-bonus beat
-trio 2? (with the green color)
-she's bad lashes <3
i'm undecided between fleshpot and melrose mood.. any advice?

Yay!!!!!! Almost all of my order got shipped today. The only 2 things on backorder are Alpha Girl BP and 3D Silver glitter. This makes me so happy. I can't wait to play in everything.

Just called and my Smooth Harmony BP, Dual edge eye pencil in Black funk/pop, Bonus Beat LG, and Trio 1 have shipped! Some is better than none!
