I want that mystery powder compact and a Dazzleglass. Is that reason enough to get it??

it means that there are more products in the hk collaboration that were not mentioned in the article. the moderators have the full color story and will be announcing it next year.

The constant reshuffling of pastels in green, pink and lavender need to take a break, and yes, I know its a spring collection. So was Barbie and they managed to bring back Mothbrown, a lovely grownup taupe and some amazing beauty powders that women of any age could wear.

I get the impression this collection is definitely tween friendly. It's got a lot of things that tweens will be able to wear like lip conditioners, nailpolishes etc. I know HK does have a very young image, though I would have liked it if the packaging was a little more elegant and grown up, with HK stamped on as a cute detail. But the colours and formulations are what really counts and we haven't got many details about that yet. And I seriously can't wait to find out more about the pigments they have! We haven't had a light blue one in a while.

OK, so I haven't read the 20 plus pages since they posted the pic of the collection but in the picture to the right of the train case, is that a mug???? I have one exactly like it but it's the traditional white kitty with the red bow.. Any hoot just wondering cause that would be cute, but strange that they included a mug in a makeup collection, but hey it's MAC!!! So I guess no rules apply! who cares I'm getting it all.. or as much as my wallet can stand... I wonder how much souls go for now a days??? haha!

ok, so i'll admit this:
I thought that thing that has been clarified as being a cup was a cuff at first. I got all excited cuz I love thick cuff bracelets and was sure I'd buy it. THEN I read that its actually a cup, got sad, and got creative.
I figuered...what if i buy the cup and cut out the bottom, buff it, paint it black, and then wear it as a cuff?
As you can see, its late and I'm getting really delirious with Hello Kitty madness.

LOL! no kidding. I love the rumors that fly around. MAC gratis is NOT what it used to be. I gotta say though, the Stylistics gratis was not so shabby.

Lol. YES!

Why wouldn't it be enough reason? I understand it's expensive, but as a avid collector (obsessed psycho girl who loves hello kitty) I say GET IT!

Don't let the psycho part fool you

I'm still not sure what I think of this yet, the packaging looks a little ... masculine to me ! I was expecting something much more girly, guess I'll have to see the swatches and make my mind up then !

Its funny....it seems like the HK lovers arent really feelin it, and the ones who didnt like HK, are IN LOVE with the collection.

I totally agree! I dont even like HK but i love this collection. I'm so glad that its black. And the kouture thing makes me more excited about this collection. Both dazzleglasses will be mine for sure, i dont care how much they are.
And the mystery powder.. Its a little more expensive than my budget would like but whatever!

Afterall, not everyone who buys MAC is a 15yr old jobless female. Some of us actually have stable income and can afford such things.

Well said!!!

Re: MAC - Hello Kitty Feb 2009 Discussion

Now that the "Hello Kitty! KAWAII!" hype has worn off for me, I'm waiting to see what the colours are in person. The eye palettes are lovely, but I'm really interested in each of them for only one or two colours (violet blue in Lucky Tom and the mint and silver-blue in Too Dolly), so I'll wait to see if there are any dupes for the colours. As for the "Kouture" Dazzleglasses? Hmm...
th_dunno.gif
I like the charm idea, but I would much rather get a lipstick or lipglass than a Dazzleglass. So unless the Dazzleglass colours are something truly spectacular (and they very well might be), I'll just stick to the lipsticks and lipglasses, like I did with Fafi (though I was eyeing both quads, loved the colours and their payoff!).

Oh well. Not the HK haul I had originally thought of, but the lipcolours may change that. I'll just wait and see...

Hehe I'm actually glad that it's the dazzleglasses which have charms/pendants, and not lipglasses, seeing that I can't use the latter

There's more information but it's not releasable yet.

Wooow

when I saw this I flipped! Im loving the chic Hello Kitty packaging but I wish the brushes were more cute.

Ive decided, Im getting virtually all of this! It will be my last splurge on MAC and I cant wait for that vivid orange dazzleglass! The colours in the pallette look amazing and better yet, I dont have any purples or pinks so I can justify buying them haha.

Hey, it said that theres more products to come in the next 3 months that they havent already mentioned.

Fingers crossed from bright pink and purple paint pots!

See what product I'd love more colours of?

Thats all I'm holding out for. Otherwise I will not be getting a thing.

Was that a dazzleglass? To me the tube seemed a bit too short for the dazzleglass so I thought it was a lipglass

I'm still hoping for paint pots too. I doubt I'll get a lot from this collection, but I'll have to wait for the colour stories first.

Maybe they will release some new colors for the perm line but with this collection I am hoping for bright ones!
