MAC - Love that Look Discussion

Hi Everyone
Have read a few pages to catch up on things...Tish I can't believe someone would have such nerve, what is wrong with people these days..seriously
. Is your new fur baby the little on in you siggy picture??
Thanks for the swatches Tish. Was off work today, so I headed over the Mac to check out the new collection. I love starflash eyeshadows because they are so smooth and have good color pay off..so the first one on my list was Smoke & Diamonds since I missed out last year. then I got Style Snob..gorgeous color, the MA had to the back where they stock things to get more and commented that this one seems to be going fast. I also got Fashion Groupie and Strike a Pose..dont have SD's because of the poor color pay off , so Fashion Groupie is close in color and nice and since I have never worn teal blue on my eyes and Strike a Pose looked so darn pretty I just had to get it. Its funny I only wanted two shadows and came home with 4..how does this happen..lol. Oh I also loved Fashion and it looked great with Strike a Pose..what is everyones thoughts on Fashion??

Hi! Been lurking forever - 1st time posting. For those trying to budget (like myself), I went to my local MAC this afternoon and would like to offer my thoughts:
- Style Snob is VERY close to Satin Taupe - Satin Taupe is a little darker, but on my nc43 skin they were too close to justify buying Style Snob.
- One-Off is the standout to me - deep, rich green goodness.
- Other than the fabulous texture, most were dupeable with permanent colors.

I got to see the new collections today. I wasn't going to get any of the SF shadows - but - they are the best texture!!!!
I got:
Fashion
Unbasic White
Style Snob
I got the skintint - SMT - which is amazing!!!!!!! They said this one will not break out the skin as some have had problems with the other foundations. We will see. One MA said she tested it for awhile & no breakouts.

The two together looks great. I didn't get Fashion because I already have some similar colors from different brands but if I recall correctly, there was a slightly bluish tint to it that made it look good with Strike A Pose.

Lol, that's okay, I get lazy days too. However today I was inspired and used Strike A Pose and Smoke and Diamonds together to see how it lasts. If it does as good as everyone says, I'm going to be tempted to buy more.

Fashion is such a pretty soft dusty grey aqua blue - old movie kinda blue.

All this talk about Strike A Pose, Rated R, Style Snob, Unbasic White and Fashion makes me want to get them!!! As for Smoke & Diamonds, I may have to get 2 more of them.

I'm feeling panicky...
I sooo wish my counter had this collection out already, I really wanted to do swatches before I leave town. I really only want to buy 3 but I can't decide between rated r, strike a pose, s&d (which I don't have any of), and one-off. I love the color of rated r but I have bitter so I'm feeling a little guilty about getting both even though bitters payoff sucks... and with all this talk of counters only getting 6 of rated r in I feel like I have to decide right away aaaaarrrrrrrghhhh
