Thanks to all the wonderful reviews on NN! I am now pretty sure that I will only pick up Ensign (agree with AudreyNicole that it'll be perfect for summer), Illegal Cargo and Lovely Lily. Bell Bottom blue is a maybe, but I am positive that I won't be getting anything else, which is good, because I seriously didn't think I would like the Dazzleglasses and well.... i do, lol! I was considering Bateaux lustreglass, but it just looks too bronzey for my taste.

Despite the talk that Submarine is an almost dupe for Freshwater, I'm still glad that I had someone CP it for me. Sure it is only a little bit dark, but it is also a different finish, which causes it to do different things when layered, and blended than would Freshwater. Plus, there is the whole LE factor.

So, I went to our MAC preview in Hillsdale, and I must say, I was SOOOO excited lol. There was two male models (so hot) and a VERY pretty female model. There were a lot of MAs, so I felt all of us were equally helped.

I grabbed a couple of things. I love Party Mate with Love Knot lg on top and Port Red with Love Alret. The pigments are soooo nice!!!! Munity and Bell-Bottom are my favorite! Here is what I grabbed earlier.

The other lippies and glosses are very "dupable". I'm happy I was able to kinda control myself. hahahaha. Yikes hahahah

All 5 eye shadows
Port Red (very pretty) l/s
Buoy- O-Buoy l/s
Party Mate l/s
Ensign l/g
Love Knot l/g
Love Alert Dazzleglass

I pre-ordered at Nordstrom:
Quad (very pretty in person. The yellow is really sheer, I think you'd need to pack on color. (then again I was swatching it on my hand) nothing like Chrome Yellow)
Munity and Bell-Bottom pigment
Two nail polishes (may take out)

Does anyone know how much of a difference there is between Ahoy, There! and Buoy-O-Buoy?

I don't know if I should get one of them or both.

BOB is a pinker version of VG V, and AT is a soft bubble gum pink. they are definately different.

Ok, I think I'll get all the lustrglasses except Bateaux, which I usually don't even like lustreglass but the colors really look so pretty this time. I agree with everyone on the eyeshadows, I'll probably just pick up Illegal Cargo and maybe Shore Leave cause I can always use a cooler neutral like that...Mutiny pig. looks amazing and I totally hate blue shadows but I must have that color! I have Lovely Lily already and it's way too chunky for me, I just don't like it. Maybe I'll grab Lark About though...and I'll definitly get Party Mate and Ahoy There. I hope it goes on the MAC Pro site tomorrow!

Okay, Thursday is almost here and I need to decide on what I'm getting! If I go in there with a blind eye, I'll just buy everything.

EDIT: In this image that Risser posted, are the colors accurate? It looks like the one labled Buoy Buoy is really Party Mate and the one labled Pary Mate is really Buoy Buoy?

I think I might just get Mutiny and one of the l/g. I just have to decide which one since they're all so pretty. I got Lovely Lily last night at the San Marcos CCO.

Do you think NN will be released 2 days earlier online? Or do you think MAC will stop doing this because of the whole Heatherette online disaster? Thoughts?

I went by a MAC counter today to pick up some Dazzleglass, and the super-nice SA mentioned that they were having a seminar Wed. night to preview NN and a MAC MA would be there to share some of her 'tips' and I'm assuming to also try out some of the products. It sounded like fun, after all, I have learned a few things over the years by getting my make-up done now and then; some MA's have interesting tricks. I'm quite excited now! It will be interesting to see how she combines the colours as well!

I imagine it'll be released online tomorrow, as the whole fiasco happened when they moved the Heatherette release up by a week.

I saw the boxes were ready to be sold at my local mac counter (though the boxes were turned around as they can't sell til thursday) I'm so pumped!

Must....show....restraint!

Yes, but it is a Nordstrom exclusive, only available at the Nordstrom website and at Nordstrom counters.
