Mines been dispatched!! :eyelove: My tacking number isn't working though so I may call MAC to see if the number is wrong or something - I love tracking parcels! This is my first ever foray into mineralised products! I'm so so so excited :eyelove:

The sad thing to me is that One of a Kind is actually the most gorgeous of the lipsticks - it's like combining a dark vampy shade with a MLBB shade and getting the perfect sexy lip that's soft enough for daytime and the workplace, but sophisticated enough for the evening. Plus, it'd look good on any skin tone or natural lip color.
Not that GOR isn't beautiful, but it looks like there are going to be a lot of variations of it coming up in the Fall collections (also in GlamGlass too).

My Debenhams despatch email also has one MES marked as "Supplier Order - In Progress", and matching up this email with the original "Thank you for your order" email, it does look like it's Unsurpassable that's missing
I think it is definitely Unsurpassable that is missing. Hopefully my package arrives today and I will be able to find out. I wonder why Debenhams were unable to get stock of that one :S

Only one more sleep till semi precious is in the shops and I can get my hands on some fabulous shadows!

ANybody got to play with the brushes yet? What do you think of them? I am soooooo curious about the brushes!

[/quote] Sorry to hear a few of you are having issues with your debenhams orders. They obviously had some kind of stock issue with Unsurpassable - though it would have been useful to list it as out of stock on the website, so you could order elsewhere and not have the hassle of having to wait for your parcel to know it's missing. Hope the rest of your order arrives on time :)

I was doing my anniversary sale pre-orders today over the phone, and I was able to add my semi precious haul! I'm picking them up tomorrow!


If anyone is looking for anything, let me know! I'm going tomorrow around 330. I can CP if anyone needs it! My MUA over there is the best! =)

This is funny.... I take 2 day shipping and standard and i got it at the same amount of time. Not wasting my money on 2nd day eva!

Good thing they shipping fro KY now! :) cos I live in IN

I'm actually glad we're not allowed to return cosmetics unless they're damaged (or if ordered online if you haven't used it), because it is just so wasteful to buy something, try it and return it, just for it to end up in the trash. The US is a very wasteful country, and I think a bit of change in people's mentality wouldn't hurt. I was amazed at the amount of plastic bags thrown at us in the supermarkets when we were in Florida at Easter - I always take my reusable bags with me when I go shopping here and it just doesn't feel right anymore to use their free plastic bags anymore. I'd be laughed out of Walmart with my reusable bags in the US. :S Anyway, rant over. Hope everyone gets what they want and likes what they get, so there's no disappointment and waste. ;)

I think they are sent back to MAC as damaged out products.
Some people say they have watched ma's just chuck them in the trash when they have returned something. I'm guessing this is for the customer to see they cannot resell the item and is a kind of a waste of a purchase. My thinking is they pull them out of the trash after the customer has left and put them in a container that is for products to be sent back.

This is just info that I have gathered. I'm sure there are ma's on here that can confirm what is actually done with retuned products.

As they said when I called that they have been experiencing problems with their auto dispatch emails being sent late and not including the tracking? Just a thought if you haven't had a mail yet, it may be just an error.

Its a waste if people buy on impulse and send it back for return while others who are really keen to purchase ends up searching high and low for the products

I think it's the processing time, that is guaranteed to be shorter with 2nd day shipping, but if they are not too busy, they will process standard shipping in the same amount of time. Glad you got your goodies. Happy play-time :))

I don't think we are allowed to return make up too... mm no here you would never have your money back for something... I don't think that if you return make up here you are allowed to take something else... you can only use what you don't like for back to Mac

For those of you that have purchased Smoked Ruby - how do you intend to wear it? I purchased it, haven't yet received it, and am thinking just the usual, taupe with the Smoked Ruby, but any other more inventive ideas? Hm??? TIA!

I think its horrible when I see people say they are going to buy something because they know they can return it, I agree its soooooo wasteful. I have never ever returned or sold anything because I feel that if I buy something sight unseen its my problem if I wind up not liking it, I can give it to a friend or family member or let my daughters have it. I am sure one of the reasons prices go up every few months is partly because of people buying & returning for full refunds, I think MU companies are nice for taking products back but I disagree with their full refund policy

Once in a while, everybody can make a mistake, but you make a really good point that you could give the product to a friend or family member. I saw a customer returning two My Paradise blushes. This is so sad! Not only it is a waste of product, but also, as you pointed out, companies have to calculate all the returns into their pricing. And not to mention the fact, that another two customers could have purchases this product.

If I'm not sure whether I will like a product or not, I just wait until I can swatch it for myself in store. It's painful to hold back ordering SP online, but I really need to see the MSF and I also want to pick the ones I want.

I understand that for some customers online shopping is the only option, but then they just have to be extra careful. We all know what suits us and what doesn't - at least we have a general idea.

Ultimately, you can always swap or trade it on Specktra and make another person happy, even if you lose a couple of dollars.

I ordered around the same, and it is out for delivery. Its my local courier making it late, not MAC. Its the same lady that does all MAC parcels, in this area, with DHL @Home service which is now Yodel, and she won't deliver before 4pm as apparently most households are occupied between 4-9pm - but not me

What did you order in the end? I love hearing what other people got, I get to live vicariously through them since I am a poor student :(
