Oh Holy God! Smoke and Diamonds makes me want to cry. I wish I hadn't clicked on the swatch thread. Crap. Off to budget....

EDA: Top Hat and Talent Pool will be mine. Oh yeah and Lotus Land and Star by Night. And maybe a few more....

Ok so as usual, Audrey is going to eat her words and make a shopping list for this collection! Smoke and Diamonds is top on the list, followed by Top Hat, Lotusland and probably Talent Pool

smoke & diamonds is such an odd colour - in some lights, it's a grey with hints of olive, or a grey/silver, or even a grey/taupe. very complex, shimmery shade

*sigh* i was going to complete pass this collection up but now i want talent pool...maybe Sunset B which will be my first pink if i do get it and Lotusland which is such a pretty light purple...i might even go for the darker purple which i think is Top Hat...just maybe. ERGH!! i wanted to skip this collection so i could save.

Ok I used to have my picks narrowed down to 5 but after seeing all the awesome swatches people have posted recently my number has gone up to 8. That's over $100! I have to narrow it down. Ugh, this is gonna be harder to resist than I thought.

me too... now i want top hat, grand entrance, and maybe smoke & diamonds and sunset b... and was trying to save up for Cult of Cherry

sunset b. and lotusland. they're too red/pink based for me. if i go with pinks, i'm more of a bright fuschia pink type of person. lotusland is too pinky-purple for me. for a lighter purple i like beautiful iris better, which is more blue-based.

I'm a NC42 gal and I saw the swatches on Tinkerbelle2001 (a fellow NC42er iirc) and I thought it was a bit bleh, as in too much neutrals and muted colours. Tinkerbelle2001's pics of the actual e/s in pots are definitely great and very, very, very useful though

Fine for work and smokey eyes but nothing that jumped out and said "Meta! Take me!! I'm yours!" kinda thing.

Buttttttt....funnily enough, when I saw xbrookecorex's swatches on her NW20 skin, everything looks so vivid and not at all mute!!

Bah! So I'm confused as to whether to get them or not...*sigh*

Btw, are these permanent or LEs?

Seems to be mixed reviews but I LOVE the khol power pencils! You just wait! You know you will get them!!

Well I like them because they are very soft to apply on the waterline. It just glides! My fave is Feline because its a nice dark black. On me, they do smudge slightly but not so much where I wont wear them because of it.

quick picture, and it's not the best/most accurate, sorry! it's 10.30pm here so ive well and truly missed the natural sunlight

S&D is more grey/silver, smoother and far more pigmented
Sweet Sienna is similar, but has less grey tones, has teeny tiny gold & copper flecks through it and is almost sheer next to S&D

so if you like Sweet Sienna, you'll like Smoke & Diamonds
