I am very curious to see Lotusland. Hopefully it will be the colour I am looking for... But from what I read it might not be so.

I laughed out loud when I read this, I think every taupe/brown that Mac has ever released AND I have two Mothbrowns.
Smoke & Diamonds reminds me of MB in that it really looks different depending on what you pair it with.

I just wanted to profess my love for Talent Pool.
To me this is not like any other teal I own. I know its not like Parrot but to me it reminds me of Tilt (will post compare swatches later). To a teal fanatic this is extremely unique.
I am wearing Solar White & Warming Trend on the inner/centre eye over Cash Flow p/p and my precious Talent Pool over Rollickin p/p in the outer. Solar White really brings out the gold in TP they work beautifully together. Compared to other teals this is more on the blue side instead of the green like say something like in the Gulf Stream family.

Well- after reading almost 50 pages worth, my own posts included,( I can't seem to hush up about this collection) I found myself at the MAC FSS last night, armed with a bag of empties.. I B2Md for Sunset B and DreamMaker.. oh yea.. niceeee.. Sunset B over Canton Candy paint.. gorgeous..SO now, 6 of the 12 colors are mine.. 4 thru the website and now 2 more..oyyyyyy
thats it! I'm DONE! and to make it WORSE, i somehow ended up getting a few other things while I was there.. how does that happen!!!
Oh, and TOP HAT really does blend nicely, unlike Fertile (which hates me) and my Entremauve pig, which hates me even more.. I'm SO glad I got these.

What? They are comparing MB to Smoke & Diamonds? Mothbrown isn't even close in comparison to Smoke & Diamonds. And, I would say that S&D doesn't even have all that much taupe to it. Its like someone said Beauty Burst was like Glamour Check and they aren't even similar? I just don't even understand these weird color comparisons. Then people won't buy the shadow because of these completely inaccurate comparisons. Erine corrects it all the time too

So, as I couldn't wait to get to the Pro store in Toronto on Saturday and the anticipation was killing me, I went to our local store here in Ottawa yesterday to check these babies out. I got:
Smoke and Diamonds
Mink and Sable
Sunset B
I love them all, so happy with my choices!
Btw, to all Ottawa girls, the MAC store in Rideau Center actually took my depots!!! I know, you all should go when the tall guy is working there. I was able to B2M for these three e/s! No need to go to the TO's Pro store anymore

I totally agree, there have been some weird comparisons of these colors to others that I totally do not agree with. I thought maybe it was me so I kept quiet

So i went to MAC today coz i have few things on my list to buy. I just asked the MA when is the new collections coming up, then she just said she can show me the collection! So i swatched them i find it really nice. I went home getting 3 e/s and 2 khol eyeliners. whew! big damage on my account but its ok coz i love it!

Personally, I thought that S&D was waaaayyy to close to Climate Blue, which is why I didn't buy it.

Mothbrown is not even remotely close to Smoke & Diamonds. I thought it would be close to Knight Divine WITH SHIMMER IMO. But none of them are dupes for S&D.

Hello everyone... my first post!
I'm in Australia so I am yet to feel the texture of these starflash e/s, but by all accounts i hear it's great.
So far I only have MAC e/s in woodwinked and jest and love both... so I want more.
I'm in the process of compiling my online order and I was wondering if I order:
Bold & Brazen &
Glamour Check (among others of course)
do I necessarily need:
Antiqued
Amber Lights
Mythology
Cooperring
Which could I live without for the time being as I'd much rather order the LE shades first? But I don't mind ordering a few permanent shades also.
Please help me. I've been lurking here for the past 5 hours looking at swatches and descriptions and I am totally confused!
I would like to be able to create nice looks.
For reference - I am fair (4 in Armani LSF... I had Hyperreal ages ago and was matched to be NW20) with blue eyes and brown hair.
