HOLY BAJEEBUS! These are GORGEOUS!! I only ordered five (Smoke & Diamonds, Sunset B, Lotusland, Dreammaker and Top Hat) but I'm definitely going back for at least two more (Bold & Brazen and Grand Entrance or Glamour Check!). The texture/finish of these is just divine. And it actually looks like I could put a look together using all 5 of the shades I already got. Can't wait to play tomorrow morning!

I now see what all the hype was about Feline. I love it and I will be getting at least 1 or 2 more backups. It is a fantastic liner!

I went to look at the collection today and strangely enough I only plan on getting Smoke & Diamonds, Glamour Check, and Top Hat.
I wanted Bold & Brazen but on ME it is Expensive pink. I'm NC50 and I know that it's different with skin tones, so it probably doesn't look like expensive pink on others, but I definitely couldn't even tell the 2 apart.
I wanted Go as well but it was too close to Tempting for me. I like Tempting and have no problem with the texture since it's a special Luster. I realized I'm growing up and I just couldn't justify spending money on a shadow that a tiny tinge darker. I totally won't know the difference on my eye and I won't know the difference in not owning it. Same thing with Mink & Sable, the difference just isn't big enough.
I took Lotusland off of my list b/c I swatched it with Beautiful Iris and while to me it's basically the same, I didn't like the sparkles in LotusLand. So I'll buy Beautiful Iris.
And I still plan on getting all of the Kohl powers still!

My counter has just called - the collection has arrived!!
Thank God I still have vacations until the end of the week, so I can drive there right now to get my e/s

I was just experimenting and came up with a very pretty (could be day) smokier look. I started with Nice Vice p/p (Artifact would work too - another one of my favorites), Lotus Land on inner lid, Subtle p/g on center lid, M&S on outer lid. Top Hat in the crease, Grand Entrance on inner < and to highlight. Lined with Top Hat (with a Transformer). The colors blended together beautifully, and you really can't tell where one leaves off and the other begins, and I didn't have to buff the daylights out of it! Lotus Land is becoming a favorite - its texture is terrific, and it's a great color to 'wash' over the entire eye after the other colors have been applied. I find the same characteristic with GE. So many options, so LITTLE time!

Well, as much as I wanted to play with my Top Hat & Sunset B today, I'm at work & therefore had to try something more "work-friendly." I am SO happy with what I came up with - simple, but elegant & can definitely be taken from day to night.
Soft Ochre p/p from lashline to browbone.
Your Ladyship pig (Antiquitease)on browbone to highlight.
Dreammaker e/s on inner lid/inner V.
Neutral Pink e/s (N Collection) on middle/outer lid.
Smoke & Diamonds e/s on outer v/crease & under lower lashline.
Finish with Carbon e/s wet as an upper liner (not as bold as Blacktrack f/s so this keeps the look soft).
Add two coats of Plushlash Plushblack mascara & waaalaaa! So pretty!!
(Note to self: I officially need a back-up of Smoke & Diamonds. It is just the most beautiful taupe-y grey with the perfect sheen to it and it blends effortlessly.)

And - surprise
And the texture is amazing!!
I was the only one at the counter and could play with all the new stuff. LOL These days are awesome.
And I got my Colour Forms brushes! Oh, I love the glossy handles!!

I am such a dork. I was most excited about Smoke & Diamonds and also got Mink & Sable and Top Hat. So, a week later, after trying multiple looks with M&S and TH, I FINALLY, today, dip in to my S&D.
The color is so gorgeous! I used it on my lid and lower lash line - so I could get the full effect of the color this first time - with Shroom as a highlight and then traced Gulf Stream over the lower lash line. The color is so pretty! I never get dups (got to save pennies for other things), but may consider it for this. Thanks everyone for posting your great looks too. I am going to try some of them this week.
