TY!

Check the swatch thread. I could have sworn that I saw the Cinder/Top Hat comparison in there. HTH.

I'm new here but have been reading this thread. Thanks to this I caved in and bought Bold & Brazen, Mink & Sable (greener than SO on me), Glamour Check and Dreammaker. Last week i got Go, Top Hat and Smoke & Diamonds and said I would limit myself to that and then I kept dreaming about the other colours. No joke. Am i crazy? I am wanting Talent Pool but kind of think i will not wear very often.

LOL... as you can see, I'm not being very productive today!

MAC, are you reading this? She said Emerald Green as Starflash Shadow.
Oh please, it would be such a great colour with this texture.

Glad you asked that question; I meant to post about depotting mine. I depotted all of mine using the flat-iron method with no problems, except for Top Hat. I gouged it pretty good and I re-pressed it with no problem. Wheww! I'm glad re-pressing it did not hardened it. It works just as smooth and buttery as before.

What are you pairing Sunset B. with? I hve Smoke and Diamonds but need other ideas. I also have Lotusland. I am allergic to Hepcat, Nocturnelle, Satellite Dreams and other red based purples. I was thinking of pairing it with Mulch but am not sure how this will work. I appreciate any ideas you might have. Thanks!

On me it's more grey. I've heard other people say it's more taupe. I guess it may depend on your skin tone and what you pair it with.

My little black box arrived this afternoon and I love everything I ordered. I'm especially happy with Mink & Sable. On my skin it looks waaaay greener than Sumptuous Olive.

I can definitely see why people are comparing B&B to Expensive Pink, but there's a salmony irridescence to EP that has never looked so hot on me and I think B&B lacks that.

Do any MAs know if these have sold well enough to become part of the regular line? I really want to save my money for other collections but I trying to hold myself back from getting the rest of the shadows in this collection and buying backups.

yesterday I wore sunset b and smoke and diamonds together and it looked so faded and crappy...why? I use UDPP as a base, and never had a problem with it before. I think im using the wrong brushes, and I know theres a million threads on brushes....but whats like the one or 2 standard brushes I need to apply my eeyshadow???

I just bought Top Hat. I decided it was the most striking and original of all the colours and I really didn't want to buy too much this time round. I did like Mink & Sable, Go and Dreammaker too but then they're pretty much dupes for Sumptious Olive, Tempting and Ricepaper. I've decided to buy those current line colours at a later date therefore.

A pink like SunsetB would look great together with browns, bronzes and copper shades, I'd try it with Bold&Brazen, or at least Copperly with a light hand, it would bring out the pink! Or to go peachy with some Light Flush on inner half , Sunset B on outer and Neutral Pink or another,dirty/ fleshy pink in the crease. You could also play around with SunsetB and golds, such as Amber Lights, with Cranberry in the crease and Solar White to highlight.

I'm not sure what you have, but I've been having good luck with my 242 and my 239. I sort of flatten them into the shadow rather than sticking their 'points' in, and then wiggle them over my lid. I have a nubby bullet brush from Mally that I use in my crease - or I use 217. I find with these textures being so soft that you need a firmer bristle brush to get good color lay-down.

HTH!

Sunset B. looks great with p/gs like Softwash Gray, Subtle and Sweet Sienna. It's also great over deeper p/ps like Blackground or Artifact and then with any deeper color in the crease. Lotus Land is great as an inner lid color with Sunset B. on the rest of the lid. It's also very pretty with B&B as well as Glamour Check, but GC might have the wrong red in it for you. Electra would be pretty with it too.

I was thinking the same d@mn thing!
I bought all of them but these 2 and the 2 blues. After playing with everything and feeling the finish, I want B&B & Glamour Check now! I think I'm going to pick these up this weekend. I love it.

I always "pat" on the color with my 239. It is my HG brush. I think that is the most important and then maybe a 224 or 217 for blending. But the 239 is a must have. It really allows you to pack on the color because it's so dense.
