I live by my 239 brushes!!! THat is the only brush I use when I put e/s on. And Depending on the texture and color I switch between 224 and 217 for crease & blending. THose are my 3 live without brushes for my eyes!

those who may be b2m-ing and are possibly using empty pots that you've depotted let me know if you have any problem b2m-ing still with out the metal pan in it. I have a lot of empty pots and if i can't b2m them within the next wk im going to be so sad. Im hoping that this isn't one of those rules that will be active immediately so that i can get a few more shadows that i want.

i really want to get smoke and diamonds and top hat. possibly one other shadow but im not sure which otherwise i'll get a lippie.

Got my Bold & Brazen and Glamour Check! today. Thank you soooo much elegant for making me want these enough to buy them. They are my favorite along with Smoke & Diamonds, and that's saying a lot since I'm not usually much of a neutral color wearer. I'm buying a backup of all three just in case.

I went to the store and picked up two more palettes so I could depot and went ahead and did all my starflash, plus climate blue and mothbrown finally! Reorganizing palettes is fun! I had given away and sold ALLLL my e/s palettes earlier this year so I've started fresh and am already up to four. HA! =)

I used 18 b2m's for lustretwins / starflash, and for of them were depots, I didnt have any issues but then again, all the girls at the MAC close to my house know me really well and theyve never given me trouble with depots.

hmmm ok i know that i wouldn't have any trouble at my counter because the girls know me well but i have to go to the freestanding store that i dont normally go to so i hope that they will be understanding. ergh it's so frustrating that they changed the policy...

i used my empty e/s pots to b2m last week and the girl just told me that the sticker had to be on the bottom or else they wouldn't take them...i live in Canada though.

HTH!

i agree!!! 239 for the lid (always!!!) and 217 for the crease (again, always!!!). if you need to buff it down some more, 224.

I am SO SO SO not impressed with Talent Pool. It's going back.

Horrible payoff. It applies patchy and dull. Maybe I got a dud, but I am sad cause it looks so pretty in the pot. LOVING Smoke and Diamonds, Lotusland, Sunset B and Top Hat though!

I am still waiting for my talent pool and a few others to come in the mail. The talent pool I tried at the counter was gorgeous and totally pigmented. I hope that you didn't get a dud Audrey because I agree that it is gorgeous!

I've said this before in this thread and I will say it again.

I LOVE FELINE POWER EYE KOHL.

I swear it is better than ANYTHING I've tried at MAC in regards to eye liners in the waterline.

It's been in my waterline for 11 hours and counting and it has no moved one bit.

I swear I think I'll grab like 10,000 of these. hahahaha

I finally got my package in the mail, and just like everyone, I'm impressed with these things! The finish is awesome, I will not be surprised if MAC makes these perm. Here are my thoughts on the ones I have:

Grand Entrance: Reminds me of a cross between Shore Leave and All that Glitters. Very pretty and classic, especially for the inner lid area, the "inner v", etc.

Smoke & Diamonds: Exactly as everyone as raved, this is a perfectly unique shade, looks exactly as swatched in the forum! I love it. Mixed with Grand Entrance, it looks like the perfect simple, sophisticated eye!

Lotusland: The quality of this one has been criticized, and I must agree, it isn't quite as creamy as the others, but I like that it has light color payoff. In some lights this reminds me of a lavender Pink Pearl pigment, in the way that it almost looks duochrome (or I could be crazy).

Sunset B: Bright pink, totally a cotton candy color! So pretty, so unique. Looks like it belongs in a Barbie collection.

Top Hat: I've found this one to not blend quite as easily as the other colors, but it definitely is a true purple, just what I've been looking for.

All in all, very impressed. Too bad I have to have some self-restraint, otherwise I would definitely pick up the rest of these!!

I think I'll definetly get the 239 first, then the 217.

I dont have a problem either. This is kind of annoying. I'm sorry, but even aside from Starflash, finishes should be the same. it bugs me that some of these are so creamy (Smoke and diamonds) And then some are sucky for some people....why?? I just dont get it.
th_dunno.gif
But its annoying

My Talent Pool is really nice. I'm sorry u got a sucky one Audrey. thats ridiculous. Its a shame because its such a gorgeous color...

I can definitely see why people are comparing B&B to Expensive Pink, but there's a salmony irridescence to EP that has never looked so hot on me and I think B&B lacks that.
smiles.gif

Oh, that might explain a lot. EP is not so hot on me either and that was the reason why I did not look closer at B&B.
Have to do that next week....
