arggh i already ordered 6 of these plus 2 kp liners! i need to stop! but you're right, they are so smooth.

On another note, has anyone noticed problems with creasing more than other e/s finishes? I wore Grand Entrance and Top Hat over Painterly pp today and noticed very quickly that GE was creasing. Anyone else had this problem?

I haven't used these with paint pots yet only UDPP but I have not had any problems. I will have to try these shadows with a paint pot tomorrow and let you know.

that sucks, seeing as how its advertised as "will not fade or crease".

Oh, I got my mom in on the Dazzleglasses too! She like.. wow, they're so sparkly and pretty! So for Mother's Day I bought one for her, just because I know she won't buy them for herself! But yeah, I thought splitting pigments with her was a good idea, I obviously won't use up the whole jar myself.. and I don't want to split it up and sell it.. so I just keep scooping it out for my mom when her little jar of it runs out! ;D
But I doubt she'd ever join Specktra, she's not good with computers.

Yeah! I wanted to use Sunset B. with Lotusland and Top Hat also! But to answer your question, I don't make an illusion of a crease. I prefer to just play up my Asian shaped eyes instead. When I place Top Hat in my "crease" I tend to wing it out, so that it defines my eyes better? Does that make sense? Hahahah.

I returned my Smoke & Diamonds today because it is the exact same color as Stila's Diamond Lil' (so don't fret that it's sold out online ladies) and got Bold & Brazen instead. I keep telling myself that it's different enough from Mythology to have justified buying it...

I checked these out today and I was underwhelmed. They were o.k. Nothing too special. I picked up Top Hat...but when I got home I realized that it was almost exactly like Mystical Mist. *Sigh*

Oddly enough, I went to MAC today to look at the possibility of getting a couple more Starflash shadows and ended up getting colors from the perm selection instead. I'm really happy with the 3 I got from this collection:
S&D,B&B,GC. The others seemed either easily dupable or difficult for me to mix with colors I already have.

I am very happy with my four e/s!

I like all four (Lotusland, Sunset B., Talent Pool and Top Hat).
They also look gorgeous in combination with each other

I'm thinking of getting an eye colour that is a little bit red. Which is redder - Hot Contrast (marbled side) or Glamour Check? What about Spiced Chocolate and Brash in the Spiced Chocolate Quad of CoC?

the only thing about Mystery and the other kohl (with the exception of Feline) is that it doesn't color on the waterline, which is what I wanted

I have Feline, got it last year (plus a back up) and I love it.

I have been in search for the perfect green eyeliner that colors deep and dark on the waterline, finally found it. It's MUFE's kohl eyeliner in Intense Green .. check it out

the amount of red in hot contrast varies from mes to mes. the marble side can swatch purple, silver, pink, cherry red or true red depending on which one you get. glamour check! is a reddened brown, so it's more brown than anything. brash appears to be more coppery than anything. hth

I want to save money for some brush sets but Smoke & Diamonds, Mink & Sable and Feline is calling my name! The shadows seem to have good dupes though, will I really be missing out if I just get Feline?

I agree with Damsel. Hot Contrast has a variety of colors depending on the veining. So unless you go through the stock of what they have and pick the one with the most red veining, I would go with another pick. I haven't seen Glamour Check in person, but maybe that is what you are looking for? From what people are saying it is a brownish-red. As far as Brash, that looks like a more coppery color than anything. But that quad is certainly going to appear in my possesion! I love it!

Hi all. I wanted to add my 2 cents. I bought S&D, GE, and Lotusland. Gotta say I was not impressed at first. Using Painterly PP on lid, I tried S&D with Vapour e/s and S&D did not look very fab. Then, I tried S&D with Vanilla e/s, not so great.

I felt bad and thought I might as well return S&D. I didn't want to pair it with GE because I thought it would just be too much shimmer on my lids. But, I figured, I'll just try them together, so I put GE on as a wash, then S&D in the crease. How freakin Amazing.

I love Lotusland with either Vapour or Vanilla. But can't believe how much trouble I was having with the other two.

Raven was disappointing for me because it didn't stay put when I used it to line underneath. It ran horribly when used on waterline. Maybe I'm doing something wrong....

If you want it really badly, you might try phoning MAC (1-800-387-6707 in the US).
That's how I got Port Red lipstick after it sold out online.
It's also possible that they'll restock the site; that's happened more than once.
You can get S & D one way or another!

Awww thanks. Between S&D being sold out and MAC couldn't ship 2 items to my current location, I got a little cranky. (poor husband) LOL. I feel better now.
