Yeah! I wanted to use Sunset B. with Lotusland and Top Hat also! But to answer your question, I don't make an illusion of a crease. I prefer to just play up my Asian shaped eyes instead. When I place Top Hat in my "crease" I tend to wing it out, so that it defines my eyes better? Does that make sense? Hahahah.

LOL!!! My mom loves the l/g and dazzleglass too!! She just uses mine though or tells me to put some on her when we go out since i know she wont buy any for herself and i dont use all my d/g all the time. I should do the same with my pigments but i doubt my mom will wear anything other then neutral or semi neutral colors. She did like glamour check though which is the one she was playing around with the other day when we went to mac. I dont even think my mom would put on make up unless i did it for her.

haha!! yea i know what you mean. it took my mom awhile to get good with computers and i still have to show her how to figure out things every now and then.

yea that makes perfect sense.

plus that's the whole point of makeup anyways is to highlight a woman's natural beauty.

wish they would add the popular colours to the permanent line

It would be a dream if the gorgeous Lustre colours (with bad finishes) were reformulated into Starflash
(Retrospeck, HoneyLust, Mythology etc...)

JMHO, but Feline tends to smudge from the waterline...I rec a Powerpoint eye liner pencil instead (something that won't be affected by a 'wet' eye area). Feline creates a nice superdark line, but the result is on the temporary side. When these came out with the MAC McQueen Collection, other people were complaining about the same thing. Just something to think about... HTH!

Thanks. It looks like Norstrom raised shipping prices. Well I guess I'm going to have to pay at least $5 in shipping for ONE e/s, or I may have to recruit my mom to go shopping for me!

And yes, that's exactly why I'll never get my eyes altered to get a double-lid.. or created the illusion of a crease. I would look SO strange! Or not myself at least. So I work with what I have, it's harder, but worth it!

Sadly though, Powerpoints don't stay on my waterline. I have engraved, and in 10 minutes it's gone. I guess I'll have to keep searching for my HG pencil.. if it ever exists.

darkishstar, have you tried UD 24/7 liners? I swear by them if you want them to last on your waterline (plus IIRC they are waterline safe, or UD's site says something to that effect).

I sometimes have problems with things staying on my waterline but these things are amazing! so smooth to go on, and stay all day!

*ahem* sorry to hijack the Starflash thread.....

But if Mac is to make ONE shadow permanent they had better do it with smoke & diamonds! Dang I love the colour so much, love it with anything I've paired it with. Its now my go-to greyish crease colour. <3!!!

I'm still trying to fight off temptation to get grand entrance....i have stila's kitten so i'm thinking about taking it to the store to swatch side-by-side....

Girls- today I did a quick eye with Grand Entrance on inner, Bold&Brazen outer and Illegal Cargo (Naughty Nautical) on the middle of the eyelid and- CLASSY! And then I went off to IKEA (I´m in Sweden, remember..)

Yep, I have tried them. They don't stay on my waterline, sad to say. I only have one, electric, that I use below my waterline, that's about it. Just for a pop of color, so it's pretty much a waste.

I'm still on a search for an HG after all. Hahahah.. sad..

And I don't think it's a surprise that Starflash won't come back, the colors they came up with were all pretty dupeable, so I attribute that to why they're not selling well.

Are they not selling very well?

They're selling like hot cakes at my counter. We were out of Smoke & Diamonds in three days, and have low stock on everything else.

I dont agree with ever altering your looks permanantly or even temporarily because there is a reason you look the way you do and i can't really understand why people can't be happy the way they are. I can see that you work with it in your avvie. You look really pretty.

I emailed MAC asking if they will get a reshipment of S&D online and they pretty much said, "maybe, yes and no". Basically they are trying to get more in but they aren't sure if they can. If they do get some more, it will be online again. Nothing solid.

Well I feel better that I was able to get one from Macy's yesterday!!

For anyone wanting to buy Starflash eyeshadows in the UK....

These went on sale at my local Mac (Fenwicks, Newcastle upon Tyne) on Thursday.

By Saturday lunchtime, they had already sold out of Smoke & Diamonds and Grand Entrance, and were down to 1 or 2 on a couple more.

Best betis porbably Mac on-line here, which seems to have plenty still

My Nordstrom counter in CT is getting quite low - S&D and GE almost gone. Macy's and the MAC store may have more, but from what my MA tells me, they're flying. It may just be a region thing. I got backups, however, just in case. I haven't felt this strongly about an eye shadow texture in quite awhile. Who knows, though - stuff gets re-launched all the time. But I hoarded all the ones I love just in case!

According to all the mas I have spoken to, these do seem to be quite popular. Personally I think these are a big improvement from lustres.
