I have to disagree about sunset b, perhaps its my skin tone, but I think it is EXTREMELY sheer. Ive tried to wear it a few times, and using a 239 brush I PACK on the shadow and you can still hardly see it. Like seriously...I was all excited for a pink shadow, and this let me down. It might as well be a lustre

Yeah, i agree with you. Sunset B is my least favourite e/s from this collection and it does act like a lustre. It takes so much effort to get it to show that it's not even worth it! I love Top Hat and Mink and Sable though. Smoke and Diamond is nice but it sheers out throughout the day on me. It could be my skin tone

I'm in between NC30-NC35 (NC30 now that my tan has faded

I agree ..... I love pinks and this one is so pretty in the pot but very sheer on me....I have to pile it on but still hardly any color payoff....

Sunset B is really sheer and it doesn't even look pink on me! It looks like Swish on me with more intense white silverish shimmer. :\

I love it! If I have the time next weekend I will post a FOTD to show you the effect on me.

i went to a MAC freestanding store today to B2M for bold & brazen but the SA told me that the pans had to be in the pots..ugh! it's annoying how some SAs will take the pots without the pans and some won't.

I have dry lids and on me they stay pretty much the same as all the others. Using them without a base, maybe I should try them with base to see if they look different.
But on me they stay vibrant from morning until night when I take them off. Even Lotusland, which surprised me a bit.

smoke and diamonds great color for my blue eyes

i bought top hat too and the color is gorgeous the texture is great but it makes my eyes itch like crazy so my eyes get watery so i cant wear it

Regarding the staying power of these: On me, Smoke&Diamonds stayed on very well all day, even through a 25 minute walk in the rain. I used UDPP and Painterly paint pot as base.

Can someone tell me the dupes for this collection from the permanent colours ? I'm broke these days and I don't think I will be able to buy anything more than two or three eyeshadows so I want to pick the ones that are unique.Any help ?

I used nothing as a base and Smoke and Diamonds lasted for 12h. the same for top hat: no problems at all...

It kinda looks like Bold & Brazen, like a cousin of Bold & Brazen on me, which I have too.

So I got my order a couple of days ago. FINALLY!

I got Smoke & Diamonds, Top Hat, Mink & Sable, & Lotusland.

I am happy I got them all but I have to say I am the least happy with Lotusland. It is pretty sheer on me. I swatched on my hand with no base and it didn't show up at all. Today I am wearing it over the Beige-ing Shadestick and that helped the color pop a lot, however, I still had to pack it on a lot more than the other colors.

My favourite is a toss up between Mink & Sable and Smoke & Diamonds. These colors are both so easy to wear. I really like Top Hat too because there is nothing like it in the permanent collection. It's a dark blue purple which is totally different than any of the other purples that I have.

I find it helps with application of the sheerer colors if you use a thick full-haired brush and just pack it onto the brush. Then, make sure you swipe back and forth on your eyelid, it really helps bring the color out. You may have some fallout. If that doesn't work, try patting the color on instead. Or spray some Fix+ on the brush, if you have it.

They are pretty similar in color to each other but the texture of smoke & diamonds makes it well worth it.
