I was so excited about this collection. I attended the launch party last night at my local MAC Store. The party was not what I was expecting. There were too many people in a small space making it almost impossible to view the collection, but pushy me found a way. I thought I would be purchasing several items from this collection but I left with just one item, Marin Life. The cream bronzer didn't show up well on my NC50 skin tone. Hipness blush was very chalky and looked ashy on me. I have all of the eye shadows that were not re-promotes and the others looked like eyeshadow that I already own. I also have the luster drops, Refined Golden Bronzer, 130 and the 131 brush. It wasn't a total waste because the male models were hot!!!

Flurry of fun l/g (thinking about getting 2 of these, it looks pretty unique and it seems it'll go really well with some of the lipsticks I have)

I was at the launch party last night and only picked up Hipness like I planned. I don't find it chalky on my NC30 skin like others have said. My only gripe is the starfish motif doesn't fit entirely on the lid. It's too big and they've cut off the tips instead of sizing the image down.

The darker part of Marine Life was very, very pigmented, almost neon bright to me. I can easily see it being clownish if not applied carefully. I'm going to go back and check out Thrills, Fleury of Fun and Easy Lounger because it was too busy to try stuff on.

OMG Flurry of Fun is SOOO Gorgeous! It's amazing! It doesn't look ANYTHING like it does in the tube once you put it on your lips. I totally overlooked it, but the MA put it on my sis as we were leaving and we both fell in love! It's the most underrated product in the collection IMO... it did not look orange AT ALL on my sis or I!

I was debating getting one of the bronzing creams, but the dissapearing act you gals have reported has detered me from it. So far I'm just going to stick to marine life and hipness, although I'm actually consider getting a backup of marine life, which I've NEVER EVER done before. What do you guys think about this backups? As for lip stuff, I'm still undecided as to whether I need any of them. Although I do like beachbound and easy lounger.

Jeez, the 27th is an exciting day! Makeup and the sequel to one of my favorite books (The girl with the Dragon Tattoo)! What more could you want?

Only 2 more days and I can run to my mac store and pick up my stuff.

So my definite list (and i will do my best to stick to it)
- Marine Life Highlight powder (From the swatches the colour payoff seems amazing so i'm sold!)
- Blush: Get-Away Bronze
- Lipstick: Lazy Day & Funbathing (I'm undecided about Beachbound; In the previous picture it looked amazing so i'm going to test it out and see)
- Lipgloss: Flurry of fun (Teal glitter... come on )

- Bronzer (powder): Refined Golden
- Bronzer (cream): Beach Bronze
- Lustre Drops: Both

The funny thing is I'm also going to be picking up things for my mom, her list is almost as long as mine!

Between the two of us I think we'll have the entire collection.
My bf is going to ask me if I robbed the mac store

I'll add swatches as soon as I have my goodies.

Let the countdown begin!!

All these posts about Flurry of Fun is making me want to check it out in person now, and this was something I didn't even think I'd be looking at!

Hey! Can I ask how you found this out???? I just called them. I wanted to see how many Marine Lifes they had in stock b/c I'm going crazy thinking it'll sell out before I get there! And the MA I spoke to said the collection will be releasing on JUNE 4TH OR 5TH????? WTH?!?!?!?!
I mean, if they release it later it doesn't matter to me since I always go to my local MAC counter on release days! But if this was releasing tomorrow on 34th street I'd be all over it- I can't wait another week

Maybe I'll wait an hour or 2 and try calling back again? Maybe I'll get someone else on the phone..............

I hope the MA just didn't know anything about the collections

and was wrong b/c I would love to have this collection come home with me tomorrow.

Oh my GEE!!!

So after calling Mac sotore after Mac store I finally have managed to put Marine Life

on hold!!! It is so sad how excited this makes me.....I am more excited about this then the fact that my prom is tomorrow lol....I feel silly.

Since Mac Pro is releasing the collection tomorrow I thought maybe the would hold it, not just tell me when it is coming out and hung up..and they did

DO you guys think anything else will selling out super fast? I can't go tomorrow to the store, but I will go the next day.
