You can buy how many you want! Usually at counters they don't have the 5 of each itens rule... at least in my counter we definitely don't.
Of course they only send a certain amount of limited edition items... but we should have at least 20-25 in stock still

Usually the regular Free Shipping codes don't work (unless you get a special Pro one). You have to be a Pro member to order on there AND they don't except gift cards, if that's what you're referring to.

We're all getting impatient because stuff has sold out online and pre-orders sold out....we're getting scared we wont get our hands on Marine Life....its like panic in the streets

. I just have to think if I get it I get it, if I dont then oh well there will be something else down the road that I'll want badly too and maybe I can get it then. Being unemployed for the last year has made me pick and choose what I can get whereas before while I didnt buy everything up in sight, I didn't have to limit myself to lets say a couple makeup products or maybe an article of clothing. Now I do and I have realized that it's only makeup or it's only a certain shirt I love and I mustn't get upset if I cant get a certain item. I don't know if it helps anyone but it's helped me to not feel so bad about not getting the things I really want.

There will probably be some really must have product with the Disney collection

A big public thank you and hugs to my awesome MAC MUA friends who take such good care of me and are so much fun. You rock (and you know who you are).

Because of the awesome personal attention I get from them, I can sleep easy when these hot item collections come out knowing that my pre-order is bagged and safe.

I am sure that there are others on here who feel the same.

You're lucky! I usually get ignored whenever I go to the Nordstorm counter or the freestanding store at Southcenter. Either that or I end up waiting for at least 10 minutes even when it's not incredibly busy. I really hope I get my presale Marine Life though!

i usually get ignored as well, especially at the freestanding by me. =/ and when i'm not, i often get the feeling like i'm being treated as a 'customer' - like that i'm being BSed to try to boost numbers. i've worked retail for yeaaaars, so i know the tricks.

and honestly, i'll buy MORE from a salesperson that is honest with me about products! that's why i love the lush near me so much - the girls tell me when they think something sucks, which means when they say something is great, i can really believe them!

recently i did find an AWESOME MUA at the nordstrom by me though.

she even called a couple days after she helped me out (new foundation - trying the tinted moisturizer with MSFN!) to see if i was enjoying my purchases!

since i missed marine life on here (ugh! ughhhh!), maybe i'll call her tomorrow to see if they have any left for preorder... i'm supposed to go to the freestanding by me on saturday, but i have a feeling it'll be sold out by then, and i'd rather boost the numbers at this nordies than the freestanding at this point!

edit: i shouldn't bash the freestanding so much; i have met a few girls at it that are very sweet and seem to want to help. it just seems like more often than not, those girls aren't working!

I definitely feel the same! The people at my local counter are always so friendly and helpful, and one of them today actually referred to me as one of her "regulars." I was thinking "darn tootin' I am!" (EDIT: I should also note that I've been into MAC for only 10 months, so reaching that step is pretty awesome in my eyes!) I can't wait to go back for the release on Thursday to pick up my items (already in a bag!) and gossip with them about this and the upcoming collections! Whenever I go to another counter, I feel like I'm being completely ignored, because they assume that I'm some college student just browsing/wasting their time, when in fact I'm a college student (can't deny that, haha) that is almost always a guaranteed sale. I hate being treated like a less-than-equal customer because I'm younger than some of their other clients.

My MUAs are awesome!

I ordered Marine Life and Flurry of Fun, about 45 minutes later, Marine Life sold out. Now I just got an e-mail saying "we are unable to fill your order because it's temporarily out of stock, we expect to ship the items within 2 weeks" WTH! It wasn't sold out when I ordered it. And does that e-mail mean they will definitely send it to me? Or does it basically mean that I'm screwed? The closest counter is more than an hour away, and I can't afford the expensive shipping from the other sites since I still want a ton of other stuff.

I know what you mean, if I go anywhere, but my regular Mac it's like I am invisable!

I never go into a Mac and not buy anything... (wow all that money I have spent!).

I'm not so sure about that. I'm fairly certain I've seen things Sold Out on one site and Available on the other. At least in the US.

Well... not at my counter. If someone needs 10, we'll sell them 10. That's just how it is over there but I'm sure other counters may follow different guidelines.
Also.. for limit edition itens we only get that one shipment and that's it.... MAC usually doesn't keep re-stocking LE itens.

Get it from Macy's when it hits online, they do free standard shipping when you spend $50 or more in cosmetics now, and standard shipping is actually pretty fast!
